Dogs because they're more unconditionally loving, can play with them in a wider variety of ways, are cuter (very important), fluffier (also very important), can defend you and your house/family better (not as important as being fluffier and cuter), and have been humanity's bros for thousands and thousands of years. Also, they're just better.

Cat for me since dogs are too energetic and my friends dogs keep on headbutting me in the stomach everytime I go to their house and I don't wanna experience that when coming home
