Recommendations Card based combat novels.

Got into slay the spire recently and started thinking about how it would be pretty cool if there was a novel that had the same card based mechanics.

If you haven't heard of slay the spire then what I mean by card based mechanics is that the mc would have deck of cards that would be attacks/summon enemies/de-buff/buff/etc. with some kind of energy mechanic so they cant play them all at once.

Got any recommendations?

there was a novel with some kind of black card the MC got that got him on the path of an OP piece of shit but i dont think it had a card system like what you're thinking.

There WAS also a webtoon or something where the MC was a card maker and that one had a card system in place but i dont recall the name. Was some xianxia type of story.

Not sure if it's too boomer for the community here but it kinda reminds me of early Digimon Tamers, where the mons would get buffed by card slashes
