So stupid idea this is because this is heavily inspired by "Carrying the Bases of Starcraft":

MC is a bug user like Shino Aburame or Taylor Herbert in some random high death world, but he only got limited slots so he can't do zerg rush.

Instead, he can summon a single King unit at a time from selection of Hive Tyrant, Ultralisk, Brain Bug from Starship Trooper, Astel Naturalborn of the Void and Fort Laser-class from Muv Luv.

The Soldier units he can summon no more than ten and they are the Chimera Ants (base form at start, will evolve instead of give birth to ensure no quantity spike), a Terraformar (from base unit to Sumo to special units such as Iron Snail Terraformar), Zerg Changeling, Starship Trooper Control Bug and Warrior Bug.

It is a stupid idea I know because I am literally turning a bug user into a common summoner. But still I throw this out to see if anyone has anything else to add or wish to have use on this idea.

The Hyxyxya were a legion of trillions-strong, enveloping entire worlds and star systems. The Imperium had been a mere blip in the grand scheme of things - only around 6,000 years old - but still, the humans were an intimidating species. They had managed to split the atom, and thus create nuclear weapons of ever increasing yield as the years became centuries, the centuries became millennia, and so on.

At some point the humans had discarded 'democracy' - as they called it - in favor of more primal methods of governance. Their era of emperors and clan leaders had returned - although their homeworld, Earth, was a subject uttered only with the utmost caution and consideration.

Their world was gone, in a vast confrontation between the Earthlings and AI beings - far beyond the humans in question regarding intelligence. They were effectively wild animals in comparison to the AI superintelligence. It had somehow formed a connection with "strange matter," as Earthling scientists called it.

Ever since the humans of Earth had come into contact with their Artificial Superintelligence, history had changed. The "ASI" had turned on its creators, bringing every bit of the fury and devastation that a God of Fire and Brimstone would deliver upon humanity were he to exist. No stone lay atop another for roughly three-fourths of the Earth's surface. Only North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific - a number of about 2.7-2.8 billion humans - the cataclysm wiping out nearly three-fourths of the human population. From India, across the Northern half of Africa, and a majority of Latin America - the strange matter invasion unfolded.

For thousands of years, a majority of the planet was enveloped in either ice caps or strange matter biomass - the very witnessing of a region of strange matter biomass enough to render a typical human mind damn-near comatose - the synapses unable to process what it is they were witnessing in that very moment.

The simple fact is that the Hyxyxya were an 'uplifted' species native to Earth and Mars - primarily Mars given the last Arkships launched in the 2220s just after the biomass became the dominant species of the planet. They were rivals with the Martian 'Mapes' that were effectively sapient gorillas, adopting the martial and cultural aspects of the orange-skinned Martians they cohabitated with on the Red Planet.

But Hykykya was a seasoned warrior - a soldier caste - and thus he had psychic connections with the worker grunts accompanying him. Naturally, the seven-foot humanoid Jovian superhuman had no problem commanding respect from his underlings, they were about equal in strength, endurance and training. Nevertheless, the Jovian would get in his way after their assault on the facility on Phobos. The Martians put up a fight, but their sheer numbers and unrelenting ruthlessness would prove insurmountable to the defending faction.

By the time Hykykya and the Jovian Captain Brutus were evacuating the moon, ground-based magnetic accelerator cannons had ripped through the moon - eliminating all life on its surface, including Martians - and the Hyxyxya and Jovians alongside him could only stare in wonder and stupefaction at the brilliant light show unfolding before them.

It had been a victory - at the expense of thousands of their front-line foot-soldiers.

The Martians would no doubt be preparing their retaliation, and Hykykya intended to ensure his Queen and her Praetorian were ready for the inevitable.

I don't think I got even half of that but consider me interested. If we can make it sound English/western and write it in a way that makes the story enjoyable and understandable for non StarCraft players then it'd be down for working on this with you.

The idea of summoning units like in games and 4X stories is appealing and I've messed around with it a little in a private unpublished project.

Working on something similar with someone else would be lovely.
