I heard on a podcast somewhere that there was a book that scared the US Populus in the cold war. I can't remember the title. I think it might have been something like "Why Ivan is smarter than timmy" but can't figure it out. The podcast said that is the book that got Dr Seuss to start writing children's books. Does anyone know the title?

:blob_neutral: The claim seems untenable at best in the face of historical data. A certain degree of backwardness always plagued the Russian Empire.

It’s kinda like how Chinese kids are learning how to put guns together while American kids are being taught about gender and that it’s okay to cry for little things.
