So I want to come out with a new book but, I'm not sure what it should be. I would like a BL book idea but if per say your religion counters that or you don't like BL or don't have any ideas then an action or adventure idea would work! Let me know, thank you!

He plots with sister to ruin the arrangement, by having them switch places/crossdress during a meeting with this foreign nobleman. The tricks they play during a banquet fails to turn the other man off and leads him smitten by the brother's antics, at which point the sister develops into a fujo to play matchmaker for them.

How about two mobs, you can make them any race, really, falling for each other as they try to protect their dungeon from adventurers? Imagine two goblins. Or, maybe two Naga, if you find the goblins unappealing. Put in some tragic undertones with close death calls, and make the dungeon core supper supportive.

idk what you want to do but surprise reader expectations
use unreliable narrators, that's my favorite

uh MC thinks he and ML are cool bros and narrates their adventures together like some typical shounen action series until boom we switch to ML's POV one chapter and it's all shoujo and sparkles because "oops i fell in love with MC"

works for any and all settings. i find it easier to write a story after i establish the main characters + their primary dynamic first (cause you will watch characters you love in any story, as long as you see more of them)

but the mc doesn't remember him, cause he's reincarnated and it kinda goes with memory wipe. so the ghost wants the mc to make him fall in love with him again! but the mc doesn't care about ghost, he only cares about catching the (young and androgynous) pedo priest, and starts falling in love with him!

Nuns tend to be in nunneries.
Monks tend to be in monasteries.
The two don't live together, usually, since the whole point is celibacy and all that.
Priests don't tend to be in monasteries, either, but in churches - in which case, there can be nuns affiliated with said church, and vice versa for monks.

Apart from those discrepancies, I think your idea would be quite the comedic plot.

I'm thinking of adding more background to the story. A villainess have to life in the convent for the rest of her life after the condemnation event, but the person who goes there as a nun is her brother instead. It turns out almost every nuns there are boys disguised as girls for one reasons or another.

No one outside the monastery noticed because it's so isolated from the rest of the world. For the people inside, it's a common knowledge. The BL starts after the MC gets to know his roommate better.
