As weird as this question is, I felt the need to answer. Firstly, I think it's a matter of personal opinion; like, what's your favourite colour. All of them are cool, just some highly favourable towards others.

That being said, the best "vertebrae" would be a tie between serpents and birds. Serpents are subtle creatures. They can sneak around places most people would never find them at. That gives them the element of surprise and a high survival rate. While birds are pretty sweet. Quite harmless to be honest. They can fly which keeps them out of reach from natural predators. Ever seen a hawk go fishing? Lol. ?

I'm generally partial to C1-C7, but I can't decide which one I prefer.
Co1-Co5 seem to be not that important, otherwise I'd probably rate them a lot higher, and I'd prefer a proper tail.


As for Vertebrates, I'm partial to reptiles, which conveniently includes birds.

"Best" is highly subjective. I think my son is the best vertebrate, but since y'all don't even know him, I'm sure y'all have different opinions.
