Yeah but if we knew what part of the world the majority of SH's user base is in we could have a rough idea of when peak hours are. Like for instance, the statistics for webnovel. I can check right now and see that the majority of my readers are in the U.S which likely means i should be posting in the afternoon especially on weekends. It's relative. Many people from many countries, with different time zones.
What I think that can make a few different is the day, since we have the chap/week system.
Haha, in the end, it's all up to our own time, balancing RL stuff with writing.Yeah but if we knew what part of the world the majority of SH's user base is in we could have a rough idea of when peak hours are. But SH is different, it has the latest chapter update system, which I don't think webnovel's does have. So if anyone, maybe Tony, is able to tell what parts of the world SH is most popular in we can use that to guess peak hours. All we gotta do is factor in work or school hours in those areas. Or, well, maybe T-man can tell us specifically so we dont HAVE to guess. Though i myself dont really care. Haha. My updates times are pretty atrocious.
About the webnovel stats you mentioned. You said weekends are the best to upload, not Tuesdays and Thursdays? If so, please at what time in relation to timezone please since the US has multiple "ST's" or time zones.Yeah but if we knew what part of the world the majority of SH's user base is in we could have a rough idea of when peak hours are. you would need to find the right time zone for your area then account for the time zones of your majority of readers. Most americans live more eastward. Not many live in the central region comparatively. Hence you're mainly accounting for time zones in places like new york or los angelas where millions of people congregate.About the webnovel stats you mentioned. I wonder if this necro was allowed.you would need to find the right time zone for your area then account for the time zones of your majority of readers. Most americans live more eastward. Thats why its good to know where YOUR majority of readers are. All this changes if its in euopean countries. As for the exact days, week days are generally not a great time to post anywhere around mid day, aim for later in evening or early morning. Because most adults work and most children and under go to school. So, if you're posting from in the middle of the U.S at, say, 3 or 4 pm and most of your readers are behind your time zone, be aware that most of them may still be at work or school and while some might neglect those to go and read your work, plenty will still wait until they're off. Yes, its only couple hours of difference so it still doesnt matter overmuch in the U.S, but you'd still rather see consistently high views before the story disappears from the latest update page, right? because your reader base aside. potential new readers will be browsing the main webpage. Which is why knowing when scribble hub's peak traffic hours are is also an important factor.
Anyway yeah, knowing the age range and general location of your own specific reader base is important and i cant give you any hard advice if neither of us know that information
On weedends this doesnt matter as much since many people would be awake at odd hours of night or day so you can publish at any time and most people will have the time to check in and read almost immediately. Even if they're from far off countries where time zone differs wildly, this would hold true. Aim for late-day fridays or saturdays. Early to midday/early night sunday. too. Any later. and depending on the timezone and location, people may be asleep to prepare for the weekday
I've seen about three similar threads over the last few months; would not be surprised if the necro was meant for one of the other versions but this was, somehow, the one a search found first?I wonder if this necro was allowed.

dont matter. No mod can tell me what to do. Only Tony had been given that right, and he aint here a majority of the ttime anyway. Hence, i roam the forum invincible.I wonder if this necro was allowed.
