So, I've tried out quite a few search engines/browserd over the years. Honestly, it's hard to review and rank all of them since they've been dear to me for quite a while... yes, I can no longer live without the internet.
However! This does not mean I don't prefer certain ones over others! I do!
In my opinion, I have a short list of all the search engines I've ever used, ranking them down.
1. First place comes Brave. It is highly customizable and has secure browsing... not to mention free adblock. And, it uses less storage and memory than most others that are in the market. Lightweight and secure.
2. Firefox/Google. Both of the are tied at second because both run well for normal usage. Alas, they both have gotten increasingly less favorable to me as more and more updates come and go and stuff starts loading slower. I don't have that much bone to pick with either of these (especially Firefox since it, too, has adblock), but I also don't enjoy them as much as I used to. That's about it. They've become very plain for me... as well as not-storage-efficient (I'm looking at Google). I kind of also don't like how Google's removed tons of useful features like Search by Discussion which essentially searched up forums.
3. At third place comes DuckDuckGo... it's not my go-to search anymore due to them starting to filter and censor stuff, but I can accept it.
4. Yahoo. Yes, I was alive when Yahoo was the dominant search engine. It's fine. Nothing more.
5. Bing. Also fine.
Those are my top 5 choices. There are more search engines/browsers listed up in the poll, however, I don't want to rank all of them.
What's your favorite search or list of favorite engines/browsers? Why?
EDIT: I kind of messed up... it originally said Search Engine only, but... I listed browsers as well... so it's been changed.
