Just wondering what everyone likes best when it comes to how long chapters are when you are reading. I prefer much longer chapters than most, but I am not quite sure by how much.

I don't have issues with really long chapters, I just might need to at times stop midway instead of reading in one go. But I don't really enjoy really short chapters that much. Anything below 2000 is much less appealing.
I think my preference is somewhere around/above 4000, but I don't drop stories solely based on chapter length. (But if the story is ~1000 word chapters with grammatical and formatting errors... I'd probably drop it so long as it wasn't a concept I love.)

2k - 2.5k are my preferred reading and writing chapter size. Any larger and you get lost in the sea of text. Any shorter and it makes it difficult if you have slow internet to move from chapter to chapter.

1k to 3k. I'm fine with 4k, but anything more than that becomes a chore to read as a webnovel.

I prefer longer chapters buy 2k+ is a good enough size. 1k words chapters just remind me of chinese novel slop only pumped out because it's the minimum required words to get paid.

I prefer 2K. Anyone with 20K, you guys are not making a chapter. Rather making a Thesis for your final year of university/college.
