Owns a massive corporation that owns land in nearly every nation, multiple hotels and resorts and a magitech corporation that is the only one of its kind.

The other was forced into a loveless marriage where due the customs of the place he isn't allowed to work, but is treated like shit for not and is unable to divorce due his status as a second class citizen

Dawn, his human, is a beginning mage with a fair bit of talent, in a world where being a mage makes you essentially a noble anywhere you go. She can just do some minor tasks like recharging mana stones or making enchantments to easily support herself.

Steals cheese from giants, grills dragon meat... yes, I ripped off Skyrim! But it is a fanfiction, so it is ok...

Cassidy's official job is corporate Ambassador within her family business. To be precise, she's part of the Public Relations Department. She's the public face while her mother runs the actual company and she officially answers to her. Also represents the company in multiple ways, such as partnership development and CSR (corporate social responsibilities).

On the side, she's a phantom thief who leads a crew that provides "extralegal intervention" for those in need. This combination works well since the corporate ambassador position has less oversight and more flexibility, among other reasons.
