Was Hesiod's Ages of Man inspired by the Hindu Yugas?
Oh, I have one, I have one!I know about history and I’m bored. So just ask me all your questions.View attachment 11108
It may not be inspired by that frame of thought, but it could be said the two reached the same conclusions independent of each other. Was Hesiod's Ages of Man inspired by the Hindu Yugas?
Well from my frame of view it depends on where the peasant lives, what type of peasant sub class he fell into, and if he goes to the bar or something to get info. Also I’m pretty sure all or most peasants should know about their baron’s name.Oh, I have one, I have one!
Do you think peasants knew the name of their rulers back in middle ages and stuff? Like... Not asking if random farmer A knew the name of their king, but like... Did they know the name of the 3 princesses? The name of the baron that owns their land? The name of the man that married the baron's daughter?
Stuff like that, like... Basically, if they knew the names of the local nobles in general, as well as the bigger nobles that aren't necessarily in power~
What if Japan never banned Christan missionaries during its civil war era?
