As an author, have you ever experienced this?

Ya know, you're writing then you went back and reads it, found it bad and not good enough, so you went ahead and written it, though no matter what you did it still suck ass.

Sometimes ya wonder, wil the stories in mind will perish alongside me.
am I an author or just no one? a person without nothing, not even a talent, or a thing for something they love the most.

I looked back at my previous now deleted works, it suck ass.
I think Ray Bradbury himself said that he thought you had to write millions of words before you actually learned to write: that quantity was the secret to quality. It's a long trip. It's the kind of thing that anyone can get better at but not everyone will (because they tend to give up early). Being self-critical will probably not hurt you but you might want to just keep writing and rewriting and not get too down on yourself.

I love my work, what gets me nervous is thinking that no one else loves my work :blob_shock:

a few times. Usually when that happens, I move onto the next work while I plan where it went wrong and what to do better. Then I go back and rewrite it. I'm currently rewriting my very first posted story, Lay the Dragon (thus my current work is v2 down V there in my sig).
