Just curious about what art people like.If I am making an art, I make it symbolic and deep, cause why add an art with no real meaning? You could also add a scene from the story, but that is up to you: if it is unimportant, then no. If so, then yes.

Many say they like anime art, but there are many styles of anime y'know. Especially the coloring.
The irony is that the distinct "Japanimation" art style made popular in anime began as an attempt to copy the style of Walt Disney Studios (because Occidental eyes seemed ridiculously large to most Japanese artists, the characters they drew exaggerated that trait, becoming one of the core elements of the anime/manga style).Just curious about what art people like.

True, the author often captures the essence of the story the mostI prefer to see either art that fits a story, OR art by the author, even if it doesn't quite fit.
