I would switch, but the governments are about to make it essentially illegal.

It came out 5 years ago, and it currently has more problems now than when it first came out. The file explorer is slower than any other Windows OS (dut to the fact that when you try to search anything it looks for it on the internet first and then tries to find it in your computer), troubleshooting is more complicated than in any other Windows OS, the hardware requirements are too stringent (The company doesn't want you to upgrade; it wants you to buy a new computer), it's start menu is inferior and has less uses than Windows 10, the new taskbar sucks, they ditched the useful action center, the OS constantly tries to push you into using their other services rather than relying on third parties if you want, etc.

All intentional design changes that users hated, but Microsoft has no intention to fix.
Can confirm. Being I'm too dump for Linux and not wanting to lose the compatibility of Win, I switched to 11 only out of necessity, and the amount of hoops I had to go through to make it bearable is crazy. The web search instead of local search was one of the first things to go.

For people saying it is too hard to switch…
Except for figuring out the initial install, Linux is probably easier.

So far, the only real hurdles were figuring out the initial install (iso or img file + Rufus formating utility + flash drive or SD card), tuning an equalizer to fix the audio quality, and installing the correct graphics driver. That last one only matters if you have a discrete GPU. EDIT: also adding an additional SSD. It's easy after the first time, but a bit confusing to learn.

And it just keeps getting easier.

Windows 11, on the other hand…
I hate to say it, but when every major update in the past few months has managed to break some core piece of functionality, its a clear sign that things are not going to get better. And that's not even including the bugs that they have yet to fix from Windows 10!
Ever had your laptop die while in sleep mode? That's not a new issue; the cause is well-known and they still haven't fixed it.
