Are SHF users Helpful?

So it came to my attention that we as forum users are not helpful when people are asking for something.
Do you think this is true?

refer to the "looking for" section of the forum and other discussions where someone is asking for something for reference.

Yes, we can be helpful a lot of times. Some users are more helpful than others for sure. I hope I am helpful in the serious threads asking for help.

You are. Especially when people look for stories with vampires. On the other hand, you are not very helpful when people ask for straight romance.

Yes, but it depends on the user and the question. We all have our strongsuits so someone will always have some good advice or tips. However, some of us aren't that helpful when it comes to certain genres, writing styles, topics, etc and that's okay.
