Are people afraid to write reviews?

I have been thinking people really don't share their opinions much here. I wonder if it might be because they are afraid of review backlash. There have been a couple people that talk about getting review bombed. Is that playing some part about how people don't write reviews?

Believe me, people who are inclined to write reviews aren't scared of anything.
I've seen reviews that go like "erm i dont like this plot element so im giving the series a 1 star rating", meanwhile its in the tags and revealed chapter 1
Gotta feel bad for people who get hit by these
