Yup. I live my life following certain rules. As an author, I know how it feels when someone takes your work. So, if I read I try to support the OG creator. Then there are free webtoons or manhuas that are partnered with sites that offer them for free. Then there are daily free pass.

Is it a comparable situation though? It's more like having someone translate your work from English to say, Chinese. Now, if you had a deal with a Chinese translation group and a fan of your work is translating it, it really depends. Some official translations are genuinely ass and behind fan translations. But if you're popular enough to get an official translation you're definitely getting money regardless.

Well anyways, FYI the novel Thorkiell made an illustration for is an English Original, made by one of the staff if comments are to go by whether or not you choose to believe that is your decision. I'm not gonna lie there's kind of no point in arguing with the guy or trying to understand his mindset, he's over here defending "OG" or original content creators, but yet he himself monetizes his fanfictions. And it doesn't take longer than a google search for the title on the artwork made by thorkell to find the story and then locate the fact that reaperscans has even gone through the effort of making an announcement for it to let everyone know they're making original content. If anything this guy is just as bad as reaper scans in the fact that he's taking other people's work and claiming it for himself with his own "touches" and asking for money to keep funding it.

Instead of answering my questions you do two thing. First. Either outright don't asnwer them, and repeat the same thing, all while whining how you don't want to repeat it. Here's advice, you can simply answer my questions, and you won't have to repeat yourself.

The second one is what I was talking about when I mentioned you hide behind others. Instead of talking to me, a person who didn't call you names, you switch to people whose arguments you deem easier to dismantle and talk to them. You would rather throw insults back at someone who insulted you than talk to me, ignoring my valid questions in the process, or doing step one.

Yeah you can support og content while also taking away from creators when you present fanfiction with the purpose to gain money from it rather than start an ip of your own.

That's not nebulous dude, it's a one to one. Future chapters being hidden behind a paywall is not a donation, that's a subscription for content. You're practically waiting to get a takedown notice or for patreon to enforce its rules regarding violation of copyright.

You even say "support me or read advance chapters" meaning you are providing content for support, placing it at the end of the chapters is solicitation. Providing work you have no license to use for monetary gain is copyright infringement. Especially because you are guaranteeing a service for payment.
