Anyway! State of the Art hit Trending #10 this Saturday! I couldn't believe my eyes (but I screenshotted it on my phone). It's gone now, and doesn't even show in any of the 13 pages. But hey, somehow, it was THIS close to showing up on the main page.

I got 10 new readers according to the Stats page that day!

So as a celebration, I'm now working to edit 5 chapters, so I can post one every day of the week instead of just 2/week.

Maybe--JUST MAYBE--that'll make me get back in the Trending spots somewhere. Who know?!

But even if it doesn't, I still consider this a huge win.

My previous story, which I can't bear to look at anymore (mostly because my writing changed so much since then, but also because I am ashamed of abandonning it in the middle of an arc, dropping it on permanent hiatus and hall of shame) had made the front page, back in 2020.

I wonder what would have happened if I had never stopped writing it.
