Air vs. Water, Fire, and Earth – Air Wins for Me!

When it comes to the four elements—Air, Water, Fire, and Earth—I’m going with Air as the best. Here’s why:

Air is everywhere. You can’t escape it, and it’s easy to use in so many ways.

It’s a mix of many gases. Unlike water, which is just H₂O, air is a whole blend of gases, giving it way more variety.

Fire depends on it. Without air (oxygen), fire wouldn’t even exist.

It affects everything. Air moves water (waves, rain), shapes the earth (erosion, storms), and even carries sound.

Honestly, air just has way more possibilities than the others. What do you guys think? Which element would you pick?

With your explanation, water would be liquids, earth would be solids, and fire would be plasma/energy.

I would pick earth, as nothing can beat it. At most, it would be a tie.

I don't know what setting you are talking in, like elemental magic, physics, disasters, eg.

Also, what is it applying to? I feel like saying any of the four is the best is not really good as all four are needed.

In ATLA my favourite is earth bending. Mostly due to Toph being by far my favourite character. But for me personally? I don't love any of the elements, yet I think I would pick water.

Airi may have some good points, but she doesn't hold a candle to Io. hat woman is simply devious. Universes would collapse if she were to will it, but she doesn't, and so we live on.
Well, aside from the poor girls she chooses as her water angels.

and no, Air can kick up the dust bigger than you kick it, and it can mess up your vision. A perfect cover for your enemy to escape or to ambush. Also, unless we're all here talking about wind, which is moving Air, a geomancer could easily trap you into a twister chamber

The only thing that might put Air into a strange position is Water. Waterspouts? For whom?

The air wielder could make oxygen not present in the fire wielders surrounding so he or she is basically useless.
The dust prob can only be caused by a beginner user I am talking about a pro that can control air precisely.
Water is heavier than air which also means it is slower and water is not every where like air

Serious point though, I think none would win coz each element has advantage and disadvantage to others.

Hmm. I am not going to reallly argue the power level relative to each other.

But if I had to pick one element for myself? I would probably take water. I just love swimming and hot baths.

There is also the "Void" or "Neutral" element of some Japanese traditions.
