Frankly, I probably won't even make a story. Maybe just short stories for Griswold taking on any especially difficult quests and handling them with ease. He is, for all intents and purposes, probably the strongest entity on the archipelago now, as well as the world below it. I may just check out the Freestyle RP thread and make my home there, doing odd jobs and helping people with, particularly hard requests.

Short stories are good! And yeah! There are a lot of quests that never get taken orz! So yeah, if that's what you like to do, that's cool!

If I'm not feeling lazy(which I always am) I may make those short stories, and I guess I can use it as writing practice and to try breaking my habits that were created by almost a decade of RPing lol

though not really, as Griswold was meant to be OP but use comical means of fighting(like his battle shovel which can literally tear a planet in half, but let's not talk about that) so I'll probably figure out a way.

That sounds good. TBH, your character is so overscaled that it would kill any challenge he gets involved in, in an instant, though I'm totally fine with the 'bored god testing mortals' angle.

Just...he's way too strong against anything but another god-level being/challenge, and even then it would be a bit of a deus-ex-machina.

That's why I started my latest project where I make short stories introducing characters I've either made a while ago or have been planning to make. If I wanted actual readers though, I'd continue my comical fourth wall breaking story Mischief of the Mad Trickster Gods, which I only wrote two chapters on(more like a prologue and one chapter), since that seemed to have more potential lol

Yeahp, I'm well aware. Went a little overboard, but frankly...
Griswold is pretty weak compared to my other characters.
It's kinda a habit of mine to accidentally make really op characters, and the only thing keeping me in check was the rules of the RP game I used to play, and now that I don't play it... Well yeah. But I'm used to down-scaling my characters too because of that, so I'll probably figure something out. Or I could do as I said, and just do odd jobs that really isn't fitting someone of Griswold's strength.

Also, technically Griswold isn't a god. He actually never used his Spark of Divinity after he received it... Which is why a bunch of entities look at him like he's absolutely insane. Which he is. He definitely is.

Also now that I think about it, SA would be the perfect place for Griswold's retirement. He keeps going from World to World cause he wants to find stronger opponents, and if he stays in one place he'll eventually reach the height of power at that location. But in SA, there's a bunch of anomolies showing up at varying levels of power, and then there's the world below and everything else happening there. So he could just create himself an island in the Archipelago and live there while doing the odd jobs and such as his retirement job.

Over the course of two years I accidentally made one of my best characters lore-wise into... an entity that has tea parties with Azathoth and erased and recreated Reality 42 times, canonically. That's Zyrlen, who I declared legally dead because his sheer OPness disrupted the fabric of Reality.

Oh also my go-to entrance when using him for RP was to butcher an Emperor Griffin in mid air and make it rain blood.
