Riku read over the quest given to him by the cute waitress. It certainly did kill two birds at once. He was a decent cook; nothing to write home about, but he could safely say he wouldn't be giving any one food poisoning...as long as the ingredients were the same. He sighed, but then turned once more as he was addressed by the silver haired woman.



He looked over them all, taking note of each. They seemed simple enough, though didn't provide the benefit of having a good meal for the next couple of days. Maybe if he was fast enough, he could do that night guard shift after cooking? Nodding his head he addressed her. "Thanks as well... Sorry, I didn't catch your name." he smiled as he continued, "I think I'll just be taking this cooking one, then later on try for the night shift. I wouldn't mind the office work, but...right now I don't think I could stay one place for too long" he finished, though internal checked over his energized body.

Riku was surprised by the strange name but didn't say anything about it; if he was using an alias, it would be to far of a leap that others would as well. Maybe there was indeed some curse or hex or something that needed your true name? Keeping his internal thoughts, he took the offered hand and was surprised by the powerful grip. "Riku," he offered his name as he continued, "I hope we could work together sometime after I'm not so green." he chuckled before getting up and turning to address the waitress. "@Leegood. Thanks again, Miss Leti, the water was delicious and the service was a lifesaver."

"My pleasure~" I think I had a nametag on, I guess he did not notice? I took the jug that was empty and went back to clean the used mug and came back "If your having a hard time just ask for me, If I can't help I'll listen and offer you some advice or someone to just talk to." I went on to serve other customers, seeing as more people we filtering in already.

Tipping an imaginary hat in farewell, she turned her attention back to Leti.

"Oh...My bad for throwing it. Thanks."

Folding it into a square, Vicious slid it back into her pockets.

I just smiled since it couldve been used as fireplace fuel after the trash bin was emptied out but I decided to go back to helping out other customers.

Mei honestly did not like crowd at all. But it seemed like the tavern was the most reliable place to meet other adventurers. Left with no other viable choice, Mei set off to the tavern.

With our jobs finally done, Iris and I dejectedly sat at an available table since we couldn't find an open food establishment. Sigh.... guess it's another day with the shitty food in the tavern. I call over the waitress to order our food and we both kept quiet while the crowd around us were rather loud.

Moments later, the food was delivered and as usual.... I don't even wanna bother describing it anymore, much less look at it. Oh well atleast it's edible.

"Food... no tasty... Iris no like...."

"Sorry Iris, I'll make it up to you tomorrow."

She only nods and endures the food with her emotionless face. Honestly I'm impressed at how she's not reacting at all. I would have a hard time not making a face at every bite. I took my first bite and... yep, it still sucks....

A woman stops by to retort our short remark. It seems this person works huh, if not then it's a bit strange to be rebutting in our business. She gives off the impression of being frail, not as frail when I first Iris though.

"Apologies for our.... rude remark. Please do tell on the condition of our meals if we invested, let's say 10 G more onto our meals."

"Ah I help out at the tavern these days, other days I help out as a caretaker for wealthy households, I wanted to study magic but I feel like Quite a bit has turned me into a maid these days...." I'm also getting bored of it, even though it kind of is fun to play with and take care of little children, It kinda takes away from me studying the magic.
