Ego took up a resting posture, swimming around her next snack the lady who had spoken to her. As well as the girl that the lady was talking to.

What should the guild do about these two?

We still have @Epsil off to Fuyu Machi, so we’re waiting to hear back from the Beastman mountain.

Meanwhile we have more information about the Lizardmen in the south. @GDLiZy seems to think it isn’t worth meddling in their affairs?

What about the rebels to the west?

Should the guild expand to any of these areas?

"Now, another new and mysterious face, huh?" Luna saw the thing that took shape of a little girl, floating aimlessly in the Tavern. Although she could see her 'appearance', there was some kind of strange fog that concealed parts of the thing, not letting anyone had a full view of her appearance.

"So, what are you?" Nevertheless, this got Luna curious, and she began to speak to the floating thing. After meeting the with tentacle monster that took the shape of a girl, nothing really shocked her anymore.

"Maybe we could attempt to contact the rebels or the Holy Roman Human Empire. If their conquest was real, then their knowledge and reach must be far and wide. We might gain some unexpected news from the outside world if we were successful in befriending them."

Ego abandoned her earlier position and drifted closer to Luna, coming right up to her face. Someone didn't seem to have a notion of personal distance.

"What about you? What do I appear to be from your eyes?"

"If you want to help them... Help them. The Goddess will certainly light your path while you do so.

"I'm sure there is plenty you're able to do, miss (?) Okarin. But for that, you need to first be willing to do something for them. If you believe that nothing you do will help them, and end up doing nothing... Then I can assure you, nothing will help them indeed.

"It's up to you, have some faith. The Goddess is certainly looking over someone with such a pure heart such as yourself."

However, they persisted, and in the end, succeeded in crafting their own, grandiose legend. So, if you wanted to fight gods and dragged them down from the throne of heaven, then you must persevere on. Until the very end." Luna whispered softly, thinking about her grand ambition, that would, in the future, surely crashed with some of her friends' ideology. Immortality and divinity— The distant dream, the peak of sorcery—

"I'm not blind... what does it matter if I bring them herbs? If I pray for them? Prayers won't stop the empire from crushing the last of them..."

"Miss Nene... I do not see a path forward. If I go by myself, it is meaningless. I can bring them water and put a bandage on someone's wound, but they will get cut down by a knights blade regardless. The rebels are cornered like rats in the very end. They will all die! What is the point? You say not to endanger myself, but isn't it full of danger if I go? Alone?"

Okarin was visibly upset.

While Luna would still find Ego staring at her if she looked, Okarin would find that if she had looked, Ego would be turning her head back to stare at her.

"Very, very, interesting." Seeing the strange movement, Luna attempted to use her sorcery to peek inside the mist. However, she could only see an additional part of the thing, which was looking at Okarin.

"Well, don't be afraid. You need to have a strong mind to accomplish great things. If you can't eradicate the god who the Holy Human Empire worshipped, then all would be for nought, isn't it? After all, mortals, are merely the means to help gods. However, if they decided to get serious, then they could descend and get the job done in a matter of days, if not hours." Remembering the power of the Lord, Luna trembled, not in fear, but excitement. That's the peak of sorcery, and that's her goal. She would do anything to get there.

"Fall a god and obtain their divinity— Isn't the thought of such thing so wonderful?" Luna accidentally muttered to herself.

OOC: Well, I guessed Luna had become the devil that slowly lured an innocent soul into the path of blood and gore... Well, for the interesting plot!

That would probably be a bad idea considering how many adventures aren't human.
