feeling that wave of curiosity again, Niv explains "this one turns mana into fire" she puts it into a stack seperate from the ones that had healing runes and other such things "and is for application on weapons, like the rest of the ones in this stack. the ones in this second stack are for application on armor, ill teach you how to charge these enchantments later. just try and get the runes for spells" she places her hand on a third stack of papers "memorized for combat. once again, ill teach you the rest later if we cant find someone that's better than me at explaining"
Niv seems to have gone full teacher mode on Dust

Dust deeply appreciates the tutelage, especially in comparison to his original master, who liked to experiment on Dust, as well as Niv's fountain of patience for him to ask or study. As he tries to practice the first rune she showed him, drawing it out, abit unused to drawing a new pattern of lines, even if it is the upgraded form of his treatment rune.
Though hopeful, dust's first attempt ends up acting as a small flashbang instead.

She glared over towards Niv, staring at her quietly.

"sorry, couldnt help but overhear, i was the creator of monsters back in my universe, and when i needed to create vampires i made a race that finds sunlight uncomfortable, have heightened senses and speed, and find blood to be a decent meal but still can live off of other foods. they were necessary to stop the spread of blood borne pathogens"

"I believe you." Dust comments, as he looks at his rune work more, pondering where he went wrong on his first try. as he observes his teach's friends(?), acquaintances(?), all the while, as take out some slime goo vials, to free up more space for later in his bag.

Niv starts talking of the things she created while she was still creating monsters and such, then she says something in a language that sounds very muffled and distorted "i created the d̴͎̐ẹ̷̬͛v̵͇̙̥̬̄̄ą̸͔̝̝̽̏̈̈͆ s and the G̸̜̹̠̮͐̌̽ò̵̢̰͙͈͆͆͌n̴̪̚. because my brother decided that making the gravity 10 times worse on our planet would be a good idea i had to increase the muscle strength of all of them at once and that was a huge friggin mess because everyone suddenly woke up and slammed their heads into the cieling because it was easier to move than they thought and the next year he increased the mass of the planet and people still felt super light, i decided to leave it that way because it was interesting and the god that i split from left us with one mission and that's just to do what we felt like."

"the creation of the undead races was the most painful part of this though because necromancers decided to manipulate corpses so that it had the same effect as a zombie but the zombie had no sentience. zombies in my world had high level of intelligence and could take the skills of a person who's brain they ate. they could still eat human food, dead bodies were just their preference i created them to stop the creation of mass graves that created and nested diseases, because that attracted zombies, and made zombies very hungry and thus, aggressive people stopped making them. then there's the Vampires, in which necromancers still managed to fuck up what i had created."

"bastards made a concoction that made vampires go berserk when they smelled it. i burned that necromancer until you could hear the boiling of their blood. and thus the creation of that was made illegal for religious reasons because i would kill anyone who did it. i couldnt stop the spells but the creation of elixir i can easily manipulate." her hair started to turn orange during this statement but turned back to black after she finished.

"yep, just gotta finish off this seam and... done."
