Do you want burned rations? He can't cook properly XD (another problem since if the food is nutritious enough he can just change the taste of it by casting minor mirage on himself)
I'm writing rabbit hunting report exactly for this reason

After getting a Blood Lilypad I've hunted a dog-sized frog which can cover its body with mild electricity current (well relatively mild, not as hard-hitting as Lightning spell at least XD) But I have neither the cooking utensils nor the ability to create fire to just roast it. So I have to ask for some help. (I think asking to cook it in the tavern will cost money and this is a great opportunity to socialize anyways)

You can just do the quest multiple times! Like if you do the rations quest 3 times you can use the kitchen!

There are three cooking session, you can write one session that takes as long as you need, you can even fail it, but ultimately, its not implausible for your character to learn basic cooking by the end, after you have access to the kitchen, hunting small game and cooking or just swiping left overs, makes food one less of a problem.

I can certainly do taste and that will be enough but it will lose some of its nutrition no? Well that's actually an idea totally forgot about it

You can’t really complain if you’re starving no? If we’re doing nutrients. Since most of us are living on rations, we’d all have scurvy by now.

Oh yeah since we have A Gordon Ramsey like chef character. And people want to learn how to cook. There’s only one type of quest which fits. A HELLS KITCHEN THEMED QUEST
