IC, it's quite obviously the sword - swords are versatile enough to deal with any situation. Well, not any, of course, but most of them

Flamethrowers, Artillery flamethrowers, Plasma artillery plasma rifles and then normal artillery probs. OOC
IC: It's secretive weapons like the automated crossbow, vortex grenades and stilleto daggers(Anti-matter daggers or some shit in universe) and then thunder hammers and chainswords for the tougher nuts.

I play AIEO for character flavour not weapon type? Vanus operatives are my favourite type of character mass information addiction and precision strike to kill things as well as being stealthed away even from there own side.

Personally, I always fund magic + something to be cool but my last attempt on that in old AG was quite messy, just because she could do too many stuff.

I can't say that I like the staff though, I find many weapons as cool but I'm kinda bad in those battle description. I often gets confused by battle related scenes in novels.
