Report - Solet' Luna
The Black Sea— Place of mysteries, and the forbidden world of lost moments. Tell me, who wouldn't want to experience its mysticalness? Although I had once encountered the black fog, it was not alone and with various crews. The experience was not that interesting, as I was not that familiar with the Spire Reef yet. Now, however, was perfect timing.
In the dark night sky, despite the full moon, the atmosphere remained gloomy and dull. I set sail alone as the shore disappeared from my view. The sound of waves and silent echoed in my mind, and the cold winds seemingly caressed my figure. Little by little, my vision turned blurred and impaired by the raising black mist. The stage of the Black Sea had begun, and its only audience, lonely and silent, was waiting for its performance.
Prepared, I took out my only possession at the moment, a faintly-glowing lantern that radiated pale, soft radiance. The ever-glowing brilliance of it, strangely, slowly dimmed and dulled, turning from a soft light into the quiet darkness. The sudden change made my body trembled as excitement crept into my face. The Black Sea became mysterious and incorporeal after each passing moment.
"Once you crossed the line, you could never come back..." A soft voice echoed the stage as I closed my eyes to witness its uncanny tone. The wind carried the line and stabbed into my body, seeping in and out of my mind. Little by little, the peaceful instruments played beside me, combining with the singer's voice, they gave a tranquil and charming vibe.
"The Seeker of Truth, found Illusion— The Seeker of Death, found Life—" A cold, heartless hand grasped my arm and slowly pulled me up. My eyes, although closed, remained shut despite my effort to reopen it. I floated along the darkness of the night and fell down the depthless pit of nothingness.
"Where Death Lives, Life Envies... Where Life Dies, Death Torments..." The echoing of the voice remained with me during my fall. I had no idea how long, but the fall never seemed to end. I accelerated faster and faster— Until, I slowly slowed down, and arrived at the 'bottom' of the pit.
"Once Truth, Twice Lies, Thrice Reality.— You are not of this place... Back! OUT!" The soft voice stopped and changed into a scream that hurt my ears. Moreover, my chest felt an impossible pain as I sensed something akin to having a hand inside your heart and attempted to pull it out.
"— Dare to play a trick? It seems that my name remained dormant for far too long..." A murderous yet majestic voice echoed around me as the pain instantly subsided and turned into a breeze. My body once again took off and fell into the sky the same way I went in.
The entire way, I could not manage to reopen my eyes, and only until I fell back into my boat did my eyes slowly opened. The sky had already cleared, and the black fog was nowhere to be seen. The sun was rising, and the Black Sea resumed its tranquil exposition.
Feeling a slight pain on my forehead, I found out that there was something engraved on it. A strange symbol, yet I could not see it. I could feel that it was there, but I could not see it.
Picking up the already lit lantern, I made my way back to the shore. This time, the experience was too dangerous and extreme. I had to be a lot more careful. The Black Sea was far more mysterious than I thought. On the other hand, that voice, sounded too familiar...
