could do, but scribel is not a definitive existence. if a report said it didnt blow up may be it didnt... I mean what does magic even burn any way.

and there could also be open sewers and closed sewer, vented one not vented ones. there could be slimes that ate all the flammable things.. we dont know really..
Yeah I see your point, but from my point of view but it’s better to keep things on the consistent side. It becomes a roll of the dice if the receptionist A thinks A should happen instead of B and fails you. Then on the other side receptionist B thinks B should happen instead of A and passes you for the same mission.

It’s like playing an FPS game and losing at the end of the mission because of some objectives you didn’t know about. It becomes
a little frustrating when that happens.

I see your point though as a freestyle rp. Anything goes, I don’t know, it might just be me thinking this. So I appreciate you spending your time to humor me on this issue of mine.

I feel like Ohko did not have the intent of stopping people from using their magic just because of the environment, unless it was a very specific quest, so it might be better to not add this kind of restriction.
what dice rolling function?
Basically a command that you'd be able to type something out (For example "!Roll 1,20" to roll a d20) and then a bot would give you a randomized dice roll.

It wouldn't be very useful for this game tbh, but could be pretty useful for anyone trying to make a more dice-heavy game~

On NUF there was a dice rolling bot created by Tony - the site owner - where you would type a command and the bot would respond with the result:
!roll 1,4,13

The bot would roll 1 dice where the result would be between 4 and 13.
At least, I think that was the command function for number order...

The one I'm thinking of looks like this:

Where you edit your post to roll your dice(and you cannot get rid of past dice rolls unless you delete your post itself, making it impossible to cheat)

You almost got it right! xD

The order is [minimum number], [maximum number], [number of dies].

So in your example, it would be 13 dies with results varying from 1 to 4~

Oh the reason why I’m asking is because of a quest evaluation I saw, not because I wanted said restriction.

I was wondering what the community stance was on the issue.

I think me and @Omnifarious is in the camp that is not too concern about logic... but rather power level.. that is the only constant in the world for us.

and I know what you mean about failing, but i think there could be a middle ground by forming a relationship with a player and getting an exclusive receptionist.

but I think being an mmo, contesting the evaluation should also be part of the RP.

I'd say you can do most things for as long as your report is reasonable.

OTOH, if you basically say nothing about the experience itself and only start the report with random chit-chatter and a very basic plan of actions... I'd be much more willing to fail (or at the very least penalize) you for any small thingy that did not align to my personal common sense of the world.

Well, considering we do have a consumer complaints quest, I'd say it's fair game to complain about unfair evaluations for sure~

Yeah tbh I kinda fall into the same camp. But, honestly I want to keep a situation that would burden one receptionist away if possible.

And, run a more consistent course with some ground rules if possible to keep to the self running nature of the game.

Is your profile picture of the same girl in your profile picture at NUF?
Nah, the one I'm using in Scribbly is a fan art of Alice Margatroid from the PC-98 version of Touhou.

The one I'm using on NUF is an official art for the Diva Class you could use in the now dead MMO, Trickster Online.
