In Nene's case, I'm going with a more Christian idea of religion and what not... Like, tbh, her goddess is basically my take on the Christian God, but for foxes... 0 creativity there.

And like, if you go with Christian ideals, while there are the mythos with the fallen angels, demons of hell and Lucifer... Often times it is just referred to as The Devil by itself, without really a name or an identity of its own.

Which one is true? I dunno? Maybe neither, maybe both, but I think it's fun to play around with it~

And well, exactly because I didn't decide on anything, I don't have any plans for it atm~

Honestly, the only thing I know about Cthulu is that Demonbane has a really messed up and kinda nonsensical interpretation of it, to the point he even kills Azathoth... >.>

Okay, I also know that everything is the dream of Azathoth and the Cthulu rising is basically inevitable, and that there is madness and stuff, and that some people tried throwing a ship at Cthulu to stop it from rising... Okay, that's about it~

Oh, and multiple eyes and tentacles, I know that too~

Ah, I never cared too much about C'thulu mythos in general, so I'm fine in passing those by and just accepting they're a thing~

I'm a self-proclaimed expert in Cthulhu Mythos so you can ask me about them. I've always been fascinated by their philosophy of "Uncaring, infinitesimal, insignificant, unknowable." so I researched a lot about the setting. However, I'm a traditionalist so I only accepted the original H.P. Lovecraft book and those that he referenced, so don't ask me about the EU Public Domain thing.

To any of the Cthulhu Mythos reference, I do see them, but don't really have anything to add, so know that there's still this one to look out for the reference!
