Kinda scary to go to the spire reef..... what if they [censored] [censored] or [censored].... they better not touch my woman or I’ll power level my way through and pummel their ass of a city harbor to the ground.
Or, you know, anger a sea monster and pull it towards the city.

Thanks for the armor descriptions. :blob_melt:

Just that next time, don't try to change someone's own quote into something it's not. :blobspearpeek: :blobspearpeek::blobspearpeek:
Oh... right, I was going to answer your question, half way thru I thought "I am typing a lot for this question," so I just deleted it all ... lol

But must have had the quote code left behind.

You sure? I think they could be pretty cuddly and warm.

Oh, also, do you think adding an E rank exam in the reef would make sense or not?

@ohko

From the way I see it any quests that have the express purpose of making writers "test' the "mentality" of an adventurer can be circumvented by "powers"/ Plot armour deus Axe Mechas etc something I think I often see in novels all over.

And I can see what... someone said, bland blank characters will not have deep characters for anything meaningful...

But because this is a game, there is a way to do it tho... I think...

correct me, If i am wrong, to reach D rank a player would have written 20 to 30 quest report, to have the tenacity to do that, the player will inevatably let the character develop some kind of personality. (Hoping) and some level of character history by living in Tonia.

So would it be possible to ask the player themselves to do psych evaluation of the character, since they would be intimately familiar with their characters by then. To RP as an evaluator that analyse the history and reports and then assess whether they are suitable to advance to Rank D.

The Receptionist will in turn read the report and approve or reject it as whether the "assessor" did a thorough investigation. Or perhaps that the guild could even say it understand the inadequacy of the character, but promotes them anyway. Or bribes, misfiled paperwork nepotism, just as real life, the ideal is to promote suitable candidate, but reality often let unsuitable people get thru anyway.

Again, suggestion, only to answer the question in brief, "can the promo test be meaningful?"
