I think it's fine to remove it though. Gives players more freedom to say... pick one particular one versus another.

Also blame imperial UK measures. :blob_upset: All of my references where inspired by medieval England!
No, I think it's better to keep it since it'll help players who don't want to have to search up weight of X and Y! You just need a footnote saying that those are just reference weights and the players are free to fiddle with them~

And, well... can't blame you. England is basically the only reliable source for medieval agriculture also (thank the gods for William I).

Updated quest reward gold for Scribel and Gelderholm. The average reward formula is 9 + (LEVEL)^(3/2)

Upper and lower bounds is given by 2*SQRT(REWARD)

It actually had less impact than I expected. In fact, some of the early Scribel Quests saw decreases. The main area that saw huge benefits were starting around level 7-ish (and most of Gelderholm), where the reward really starts picking up. By level 10, most quests are comfortably giving 40 G, whereas by level 5 it's only 20 G.

I still kept a few outlier quests that have unusually high or low rewards.

That was within our expectations IIRC though? Low level would receive a slight decrease, but it would be much better for high level~

I put up a thing of artwork for each questboard for now.

If @GDLiZy @Ddraig end up deciding on something else, lmk and I can replace them
I think that the Spire Reef pic doesn't really have the pirate-y vibe in it. Look, there're even a squad of knights in the pic! :blob_upset:

Can I get someone to volunteer to write descriptions for each of these items? (kind of like how the grocery items all have descriptions)

Mainly from D&D descriptions

I mean...it's not my fault England was the best at recording things in that period~

He's known as William the Conqueror, or William the Bastard.
'-'
Also, you can thank him for the Harrying of the North which completely decimated and destroyed arable land and settlements for decades because he couldn't control the nobles in that area.
The North never forgets!

Spire Reef guild quests up to level 2 are posted.

Some notes:
  • The tutorial quests are present to convey the danger of the area to low level characters.
  • Level 1-2 quests suck. You don't want to be level 1-2 in Spire Reef. You'll just end up as a slave.
  • Starting Level 3, I'm going to push a street gang series. If you want to live in Spire Reef, you need to be affiliated with a gang (or pirates) ; otherwise anyone can gank you and just sell you to the slave market.
  • Starting Level 5, you can join a pirate crew.
  • Level 5+ quests are pirate-related.

Thanks for the armor descriptions. :blob_melt:

Just that next time, don't try to change someone's own quote into something it's not. :blobspearpeek: :blobspearpeek::blobspearpeek:
