After a long day of adventuring, I decided to peer evaluate a random quest report before heading back to my room at the tavern. Interestingly enough, I found this report quite fun and interesting to read. It seems that this adventurer was a new arrival from another world, like she was a few years ago. Ah, fun times.

"It's a little strange to hear that you can speak and listen to the language of this world but cannot read it, since most of the people I've interacted with so far haven't had that problem. Though if you need help with this problem, I believe there are a few schools around the city somewhere."

"Excellent work on identifying ten different Mana Glowstone veins, I'll be sure to pass this information on to the guild's library and Alex. Unfortunately, since we already knew that the mana glowstones had condensed mana within them, I cannot award you the minor objective's reward."

"But congratulations on awakening your mana sense by yourself in just one night! It personally took me a couple of days to adjust to the magic in this new world. Here are your rewards."

"Also, please remember to mark your quest report as evaluated for future reference. Thank you!"

Has brother complex.​ Backstory Ib, the one Crowned by the World Chalice, Imduk, World Chalice Guardragon, Ib’s brother Ningirsu, the one Beckoned by the World Chalice), and Ib’s friend, Auram, the one Chosen by the World Chalice was approached by lee, world chalice fairy. Lee told them that if they collected 7 treasures around the world, they would be able to save the world. Because of this, they began their quest to save the world. After traveling for a while, they find the first World Legacy: the World Chalice. With Lee’s help, the group is able to take the power of the Chalice and transform themselves. They become Ib the World Chalice Priestess, Ningirsu the World Chalice Warrior, Imduk the World Chalice Dragon, and Auram the World Chalice Blademaster. With their newfound power, they set off to find the rest of the World Legacies. They soon come across the second World Legacy, the World Armor, but it is overrun by Krawlers and larger X – Krawlers. They battled against the Krawlers, while in the distance rainbow lights shoot up into the sky. As they fight their way towards these lights, Ib is captured by a trap and pulled towards those lights. Ib is in the custody of the Mekk-Knights, captured by Blue Sky, Green Horizon, and Red Moon. Soon, Ningirsu, Auram, Imduk, and Lee arrive at their location, the World Legacy, World Shield. When they try to get to Ib, they are met by the Seven Mekk-Knights: Indigo Eclipse, Orange Sunset, Yellow Star, Purple Nightfall, Green Horizon, Red Moon, and Blue Sky. Together, they become Mekk-Knight Spectrum Supreme and battle against the three. While the fight keeps Ningirsu, Auram, and Imduk distracted, Lee goes off on her own to find Ib. Upon finding her, Lee shows her true dark side, and uses the World Chalice to corrupt Ib. Due to this, Auram, Imduk, and Ningirsu lose their powers from the World Chalice. With this, Ib and Lee have fused into one, become Knightmare Corruptor Iblee. Together, they steal the jewels of the Mekk-Knights and corrupt them into the Knightmares. The Mekk-Knights turn into Knightmare Mermaid, Cerberus, Unicorn, Gryphon, Goblin, and Phoenix, respectively. Before Blue Sky was able to be captured, he entrusts his jewel to Auram, who turns into Mekk-Knight Avram. He and Imduk run off to fight Iblee, leaving Ningirsu to fend off against the six Knightmares. Unfortunately, Avram is unable to fight against Iblee’s might, and falls to her. She approaches his fallen body, and picks up his sword, meaning to finish him off. Before she is able to do so, a glowing Imduk appears between her and Avram, and seems to resonate with Ib’s soul. In an internal struggle between Ib and Iblee, she sacrifices herself with Avram’s sword and destroys Iblee. Both Avram and Ningirsu stand in shock, mourning the loss of their loved one. With this catastrophe, the World Chalice group splits apart, going their separate ways. Avram and Imduk leave together in the distance, leaving Ningirsu behind to mourn his sister’s death. After Ib’s death, the World Chalice group splits into two. Avram and Imduk went off to find the rest of the World Legacies on their own, leaving Ningirsu behind. They become Crusadia Maximus and Crusadia Draco. To help rebuild their group, they bring in new members, Reclusia, Arboria, and Leonis. During their journey, the Crusadias find the World Legacy – World Crown. Using the power of both the Crown, Avram turns a Krawler they seemed to find into Crusadia Krawler. In addition, the members transform, becoming Crusadia Magius, Crusadia Spatha, Crusadia Regulex, and Crusadia Equimax. With their newfound power, the group promises to come together and face their final destiny. While his friend was out bringing together the Crusadia group, Ningirsu was working on his own personal project. Refusing to leave his sister behind, he travels as well, carrying the remnant of ib with him. Using a deserted research lab, he rebuilds her body, giving her life as a machine lifeform. Once complete, Ningirsu activates her, christening the newly reborn sister as Galatea. On his travels, he takes the World Armor and World Shield, finding the World Legacy – “World Wand”. Together, he and his robot sister build a giant tower, upon which he places the World Wand. The Crusadia group catches wind of this and begin approaching the tower, intent on destroying it. With their approach, the tower is activated, releasing a swarm of automatons: Orcust Brass Bombard, Orcust Cymbal Skeleton, Orcust Harp Horror, and Orcustrion. In the center of all this carnage, Dingirsu, now called Longirsu and Avram meet once again. As if forgetting their travels together, Longirsu attacks Avram without holding back. While they battled, all those world legacies had converged in one place. All 6 world legacies activated and bring forth the world ark. The activation of the World Wand seemed to make the seventh and final World Legacy – the World Ark – appear. Together, they interact with one another, making those world legacies incarnate into a draconic form. The World Ark, Armor, Chalice, Crown, Lance, Shield, and Wand become the Guardragons Andrake, Elpy, Justicia, Garmides, Agarpain, Pisty, and Promineses. As this transformation was happening, Galatea has been receiving energy from Babel. Soon, she grows out of control, becoming Orcust Knightmare. She interferes with the fight between Avram and Longirsu and begins to attack Avram. Before she can deliver the final blow, Imduk throws himself in the path of her strike, sacrificing himself to save his lifelong friend. Avram can only watch as Imduk’s soul leaves his body. Apparently some part of Lee's soul still resides in Galatea. As she took over Galatea's body, she is reincarnated, this time becoming Knightmare Incarnation Idlee. Using her powers, she also summoned the god of the krawlers, Deus-X-Krawler. In response of Lee's action, the remaining guardragons called forth the soul of imduk, and fuses it with andrake to become guardragon almarduke. Because of Idlee's appearance, avram and longrisu and avram decide to set aside their difference and fight against Idlee. Longrisu unveiled the secret weapon he made from the tower and attacked idlee with it. With the wand that had been repurposed into spear, he pierced idlee's body and rip apart idlee into galatea and lee. Using his power, guardragon justicia reincarnated galatea into ib. As the fighting ends, an unidentified object appeared from inside the world and begin to unravel the world itself. In response to that, avram asked the others to lend him their powers. Using their power, he transformed into his ultimate form and leap into the object. Inside of that machine, he finds lee curled inside. Apparently, Lee that he encountered inside the object is the true body of Lee. Avram explains to her that the machine is destroying the world, and he has come to try and stop it. Lee explained that the world gears they are inside of is the artificial heart of the world, as the world itself is already dead once. Lee gives avram a solution: merge with her and gain administrator right to the world gears. To do that, both Avram and Lee must forsake the power of world legacies, for it is the terminal to the world. As avram agrees, they merge into Avida. Using the world legacies, Avida becomes the administrator of the world. It reversed the destruction wrought by the world gears and their fight. The moment the world return to what it was, Avida vanishes, leaving behind world key. Longirsu, not trusting himself with the power inside the world key, leave first. As the power of the world legacies vanish, the guardragons slowly lose their form. As the only one remaining, Ib took the world key with her while chasing over her brother, taking the name Lib as her current. I dunno the story of the recent animes (I only watched the first one and GX, for the rest I only read the manga adaptation), but all those things mentioned were characters of the recent yugioh sets.

I do know that there is an ongoing storyline with the yugioh sets, but it's honestly pretty hard to get hold of it. I think the Yugioh wiki had a very detailed write up about the Nekroz arc, but I don't have a clue on how to get the story for other sets.

I think the story is released in Japan in some magazines together with the set releases or something, not really sure... Either way, I don't really know how to get a hold of it, but I know it exists... And well, differently from the anime/mangas, they don't revolve around playing children card games~
