Is it ok to revamp my character, but keep the current level n stuff? Planning to flesh it out more
You got plenty of answers already, but I think it's fine! Just wanted to say that! ^^)/
Could you do me a favour and edit the God(s) of Light out? Also, if possible I would like God(s) of Darkness too. I've been creating the storyline to expand upon the demon cult and the church of the god of light, and in my report, as well as a library entry, at least the believer of the God of Life and some others had no idea about the named God of Light. No Gods had claimed the ownership of Light before.
Basically, God of Light is non-existence to the current level of our intelligent network. Forbidden subject, taboo secrets.
Also, handwaving in so much new information is not really that great or interesting. I know it's not against the rule, but uncovering tons of lore instantly without any build-up is not that great of a world-building.
GM beat me to it, but remember the rule of avoiding restrictive content! It's why I tried to make the Library mention that there was no God of Light at least as far as the priests of the of the God of Life were aware! >.<
With so many isekai'd people coming in, I doubt that there isn't one (1) god of light worshipped in the temple. It could be that the priests of the God of Life simply doesn't acknowledge the gods other than their own. There's also the possibility that many or most of these cults are isekai'd. Who's to say that all the gods here are simply irrelevant? I came up with this post simply just to show the extent of the temple, not the validity of the cults themselves.
But alright, I'll remove the two.
I didn't mean to extend the lore actually! I only wanted to show how confusing the main temple could be. A literal mess with countless strange gods. Although they are grouped up in the main temple for i assume charity work, it would be difficult to join a genuine, native cult of Toria. I was thinking that it might incentivize mages and priest-classes to depart to other cities in search of local magic and local gods that work better than isekai'd powers.
*looks really forward to reading your report* It seems really fun!
I had a story behind the character but since I don't want to openly state it out, I just simply left some clues in this sort-of scenario I thought of for the build. It isn't a big-lore claim kind of thing is it? Should I completely rewrite it?
I imposed a self-ban for any activities requiring direct physical battle or any sort of battle at all. I built this character to conduct only menial tasks like nightwatches and scouting. But if it's not enough I can always change it albeit a bit reluctantly but I'd do it
I probably should've stated that Little Green Bag does not store items, but rather Benji can pull shit out of it. Benji couldn't even control what come out of it or when he wants things pulled out of it. It's a total RNG that sometimes helps him (rarely) or send him to Shithole Population One (like a alarm system in a scouting mission). He can only store limited items like his graphite sticks and books; sometimes rations; but never ex-machina items. Trust me, I know what I'm doing with this. This feature is in no way an ex-machina.
As for Shrug, the ability is that Benji cannot be harmed, but he can be caught and dealt with by anyone with stronger stats. Which means you can't kill him, but you can trap him in a steel cage and starve him. This may seem OP, but the same time, whatever attacks Benji throws at people is useless. Not even force. It's basically him punching immovable objects. He can't harm people, and vice versa. But he can't move people, but people can move him. To put it in layman terms, Benji can't take candy from a baby, but a baby can potentially take candy away from him. I built this ability off the idea that the antagonists my build faces off in scenarios has to be creative in the ways they trap him. But if it's considered too outlandish and cheat-like, I can totally change it.
Well, remember that I'm not staff or anything, so I was only giving my personal opinion on everything~
And well, while all those things kinda feel iffy to me, I don't think any of them is enough of a big deal that demands change. It's why I had only mentioned the Dragon thingy in my first post, because that was the only one that was important to get changed IMO.
As long as you handle your character carefully, I doubt anyone will mind if you keep everything else as is~
Editing on mobile is totally masochistic to me. The screen jumps around and didn't show the right part to be edited, sometimes I saved something as drafts, get something written like a few text with how the screen easily jumps around, and that something was rewritten and autosaved. We totally need a feature like versioning in reception...
I'm iffy visiting the quest reception desk because I've been writing something on there.
What do you guys use? do you write directly or use text editor?
I don't write on Mobile as that would be kinda hellish to me.
But I can totally feel your pain, in the rare times that I used the mobile version of the site just to browse, that constant screen jumping made me go crazy! >.<
I guess the best thing to do is to write in a notepad of sorts and then copy paste into the text editor when done?
Is there a price list for some generic item? I was asking since I want to give my hunter a better axe/hatchet. And how should I acquire it? Just write that he bought it with his own money from a store in the city?
The market has a fair list of items there, though not everything I guess?
Ma man, where is this tear of the god thingy? I felt like I’m missing out on it. Among many other things.
I would love to see it. Sadly, I’m the creator of the crash site quest so I can’t be the one who completed it.
I think you can? I mean, as long as your character wasn't the one to commission it and stuff.
You know, we really should be advertising our potential plot point(s) because I have a feeling that people are not getting the good stuff. Now that I'm lvl3, I'll go advancing the demon cultists storyline and maybe the warring clan if I could conjure up some interesting twists. Also, the shady Apothecary storyline is still going but no one is putting up the next quest, so maybe I'll have to sacrifice myself to make the quest again.
I don't really like to make quest because if no one continued it then I won't be able to make progress with it.
*feels a bit sad that Nene is very bad at continuing storylines* Though I was thinking of picking up your thingy on the Graveyard quest, that one seems fun~
I have a few ... goals. one is to pepper the west with info, so
@GM can advance the west of Asteria in to a (lv10+) quest area
the other is to advance the Omni Mimic story and see How I can link a southern dark power (lv 12+)
I'm not sure if West of Asteria is the ideal location for a high level area? I mean, it's a small village and the path there seems safer than pretty much everything else surrounding Scribel. Wouldn't it be kinda weird if right after it were even stronger monsters?
I put Asteria there because we seemed to be surrounding Scribel with strong monsters and dangerous locations no matter where people explored, and I felt it made sense to be some sort of "normal" civilization somewhere in the surroundings.
Just my opinion on it at least~
8 reports evaluated in a row... This would be the end of me!
*pat pat pat*
@WelcomeToScribbleHub
@AliceShiki is probably the only person crazy enough to have attempted GM-ing that way, but it's so easy to burn out with all that pressure on you.
Teeheehee?
But yeah, it's rough. I mean, I did read everything posted so far, but the fact that I have no obligation nor hurry to do so certainly makes it a lot easier on me. Also not needing to worry about being a seeing if anyone is being a problem player or creating new content and and and...

If I was in your position, I doubt I'd be reading everything too! >.<
What if we had a quest manager system?
Each quest bulletin as a "manager" listed with it, and you should tag them along with your quest report so they know to:
- Read that quest report
- Update the quest bulletin
Uhn... It doesn't seem like a bad idea, but I'm not quite sure I get how it would work? Like...
For Quest Bulletin you mean each separate quest? Or is it a group of quests or something? A storyline of sorts and what not?
