The Interrogation

Scene: A dimly lit room in the back of a smoky tavern. The air is thick with tension as shadows dance on the walls. Corty, the eloquent bard, sits in a chair facing Don Quacko, the menacing rogue duck. A single candle flickers between them, casting an ominous glow.

Don Quacko: His feathers slicked back, eyes glinting with a predatory gleam. "Corty, my friend, or should I say, keeper of secrets? There's a rumor flapping about a certain dragon looking for a mate. Is his name... Prince Azmiran Myrian, the Lawful Good Dragon Paladin?" He leans forward, his beak almost touching the candle flame.

Corty: Smoothing his tunic and flashing a charming smile. "Don Quacko, such tales flutter in the wind. They change direction with the slightest breeze. But tell me, why does a rogue of your... stature, seek such knowledge?"

Don Quacko: Quacko narrows his eyes, his webbed foot tapping impatiently. "Let's just say I've got interests in knowing where such a powerful player moves on the board. Now, answer me, or this might get unpleasant."

Corty: Rolling a 14 for Deception, against Don Quacko's Insight (14 + 2 = 16).

Don Quacko: Realizing Corty’s hesitation, his eyes sharpen. "Don't play games with me, Corty. I can smell a lie from a mile away. Is. He. The. One?"

Corty: Feeling the pressure, his charisma faltering for a moment, he gives in. "Alright, alright. Yes, it's true. Prince Azmiran Myrian is the one seeking a mate."

Don Quacko: A sinister grin spreads across his beak. "Good. Very good. Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?" He leans back, satisfied, the candlelight reflecting off his dark feathers. "We'll meet again, Corty. Make sure you’re prepared for our next... conversation."

Corty: Exhaling, regains his composure and offers a wry smile. "Until next time, Don Quacko. Until next time."

Narrator (Game Master): As the two part ways, the air in the tavern seems to thicken, filled with unspoken promises and threats. The truth has been revealed, but the consequences are yet to unfold. The game of secrets and power continues, each player knowing they must stay sharp, for the stakes are higher than ever.

The Hidden World

As Nuon, Thalia, and Fiddlesticks step through the newly opened magic door, they are met with a breathtaking sight. The passageway gives way to a vast, mystical underworld paradise. Bioluminescent flora and fauna surround them, casting a kaleidoscope of colors that dance across their faces. The air is filled with the sweet scent of exotic fruits and flowers, and the entire landscape seems to glow with an ethereal light.

Nuon: "This place... it's like stepping into a dream."

Thalia: "Everything here looks so vibrant and alive. But be careful, I sense that not everything is as it seems."

Fiddlesticks: "Look at these plants! They're practically glowing. I wonder if they're edible?"

They cautiously explore the area, discovering that the colorful plants and fruits are indeed edible but come with hallucinogenic side effects. Nuon plucks a glowing berry and, after a moment's hesitation, takes a bite. Her eyes widen as she experiences a rush of vivid colors and fantastical visions.

Nuon: "Whoa... this is... something else."

Thalia: "Let's not get too carried away. We need to stay focused on our quest."

The Drinking Contest Trial

As they journey further into the bioluminescent paradise, they come across a clearing where three ghostly figures are seated around a large, ornate table. Each spirit holds a goblet, and their presence exudes an air of ancient wisdom and creativity.

Spirit 1: "Greetings, travelers. I am J. R. R. Tolkien, the original creator of the Quill of Destiny. My words have shaped worlds and histories."

Spirit 2: "HeeHee! I am Michael Jackson, the King of Bard Music and creator of the HeeHee style of fighting. My music has enchanted millions."

Spirit 3: "And I, Salvador Dahlí, the Bard of Artistry, creator of the Dream Painter Brush. My art transcends reality."

Tolkien: "To proceed, you must partake in a drinking contest with us. But this is no ordinary contest. As we drink, we shall ask and answer riddles. Fail to answer, and you lose the round. Succeed, and you may pass."

Michael Jackson: "That's right, heehee! We'll match our skills to yours, to keep things fair and square. But beware, our riddles are not to be taken lightly."

Salvador Dahlí: "Indeed, our riddles are like our creations – surreal and profound. Prepare yourselves, for this will be a challenge of both mind and spirit."

The spirits raise their goblets, filled with a shimmering, otherworldly liquid, and beckon the adventurers to join them.

Choosing Opponents

The party must now decide who will face whom in this mystical drinking contest. The spirits wait patiently, their ghostly eyes glimmering with anticipation.

Tolkien: "Who among you shall face me, the master of written riddles?"

Michael Jackson: "Who's gonna take on the King of Bard Music? Heehee!"

Salvador Dahlí: "And who dares to challenge the Bard of Artistry in a battle of surreal riddles?"

----

Well, let's decide who faces who; they will go one by one.
