Alright, I’ll pop in a bit later today — I really need to do some things in my FFXIV account lol :blob_okay: I should be active in like four to five hours give or take.

OHHHHH, before I forget, I attached the WIP Classes to my signature. If there are classes that should be added to the listed, or if you all think of some more, this list is just growing. Plus I forget stuff haha. Like potionmaking, I didn’t even put that in until Bochi mentioned it from the Greenhouse.

So yes, let me know, it can just be a resource if anything. :)

Aye! My brother bought the game for the PS4 and I'm the one playing it! XD

Uhn... I think the last story boss I beat was Belias? Or was it Vossler...?

Either way, I have my 2nd class now, which is very sweet! \(^^)/

Now I'm doing a bunch of optional content way earlier than I should. Like beating the Earth Tyrant and the Ring Wyrm, as well as exploring some high level areas for drops... It's been pretty fun so far~

I could try doing some rank V hunts now, but I think I'll refrain from doing that and instead follow the main story a bit.
Ah, I see where you are~
Likely the last boss you did is Vossler since he comes after Belias as far as I remember.

And well, yeah, I think you should avoid V hunts atm~ xD
That's a bit too much.
I just pulled my sorry butt out of bed, 10 straight hours of sleep later......

To everyone talking about the FFfrancise—> So, I’ve played [this is an extensively longggggg list sorry] FFII, (The very first FF, but I think that one ported over as FF3? Or maybe I reversed that around, it’s been too long) FFV, FFVI, FFVII, FIX, FFX, FFX-2, FFXII - Original and Xodiac Age (both excellent in my opinion), FFXIV, & FFXV (FFVII-Remake as well). My brother and I play—-quite a bit of games. I’m a huge RPG nerd. But yeah, he got me the complete edition of Fourteen and I stopped playing Nier Automata to blaze through all four expansions. Just finished ShB’s last week? I’m slowly getting all my classes up to LVL 80 now. I’m such a completionist. >.>

In other news, I hope those who are just getting to bed have a restful sleep! Good night! :D
I can confirm that the first FF didn't port over as FFIII as these two are completely different according what I remember. III was the first one I played I think?
In any case, uh, I played all FFs from III to XIV aside from XI and spin-offs (also FFXIII LR, but I am planning to play it once I get a new laptop. ).

As for FFXIV, bah... I only started last month. Only got Paladin up to 60 before switching to Gunbreaker. Before my subscription ran out I was close to finishing HS.
Jesus though. All classes to level 80? That sounds like hell. :sweating_profusely:

And no need to apologize for the long list. xD

There's a channel on YT that shows a really fast way of levelling up all classes in FFXIV.
I imagine there are quite a few that do, now that I think about it.

Oh, you played a lot more than I did~

I played, 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 13 only~

As for the US ports... 1 ported as 1; 4 was ported as 2; 6 was ported as 3, and everything from 7 onwards was ported with the proper numbers.

Later versions of the games also gave the proper numbering.

Ah, I tried the White Mousse, and it was going well tbh... Then a dumb lv 40 frog decided to hop into the fight and ruined everything, so I decided to leave it for later.

... Maybe I should have summoned Belias and tried using him for killing the Frog, but I got pissed at the random mob intervention, so I decided to follow the main story instead.

It's kinda amazing that the Ring Wyrm (Rank 3 hunt) actually has about the same stats as the White Mousse (Rank 5).

I also tried the hunt to kill a Rank 5 snake, but uhn... That one was too much for me, its crazy fast atack speed killed me in no time.

Mmmm, never checked those.
But after all, I never have been into levelling up classes in all honesty... I preferred to take my time, do the quests and avoid as many raids as possible. xDD
Especially the MSQ Raid, because cutscenes can't be skipped. D:

Ah yes. As far as I remember. The Ring Wyrm is an exception among the Rank III Marks. Way too strong compared to its counterparts. Though, easily doable with Lure, as long as a Knight (buffed & all) keeps the aggro~

Oh, and the snake. Isn't that the one where you have to wait like 10 minutes in the cavern for it to appear?

I didn't have Lure! \(^^)/

It ended up being pretty tough, but considerably easier than the Earth Tyrant because my gear got better since then.

As for the snake... I dunno if it's 10min since I was using Fast Forward x4, but it did take a while.

Possible. :blob_melt:But that is not bad. I feel anyway that we advance too fast without Leewood. The heroine is sadly missing a lot here despite her importance.
Mm...but lee-chan was the one who said it would be 1:1 for days to real time.
'-'
Anyway, I've posted again.
Into my Recreational/Lunch bit of my Sunday schedule.

'-' 1:1 has advantages, but the game run the danger to drag on because of it. Unless there are many events and time skips.

That’s what it was! I knew there were some games that ported over differently, I just couldn‘t remember it well. Its been some time. The ones I couldn’t play was this online one (FFXI) it looked too sketchy for me, FFXIII (wasn’t interested, surprisingly) and FFVIII [We just never bought it].

I actually started playing FFXIV in November last year. My brother is the one who basically helped me barrel through ARR, those...long... quests.... ughhhhhh. And whenever he would do his roulettes, I’d just hop in. My system is basically the beast tribe quests and using that as a helper to level up. It helps the leveling process further when you get into the fourth expansion. (@ least 1.9 million exp Per quest). Its a long process, but I enjoyed it. I think I have 8 classes up at 80? Dancer is 78 currently. My tanks (Dark Knight & Gunbreaker) are around 60. Monk is 55. Blue Mage is 54, but that caps at 60 I think.

HS is such a good game, stormsblood following that is pretty good as well. Shadowbringers tho...... that was one of the best stories so far. I highly recommend it. It’s pretty on point.

Ah yes, the hunting quests for FFXII was pretty cool. That snake won’t appear for 10 minutes, and you can’t really “move” either, I think that resets your time. I remember I got there and just left my controller on the ground to get some food.

I’m on my third playthrough, right after you get to Reddas’ town. I really like the way you can set up your gambits for all the characters and can just auto everything. It’s nice for when you’re up against regular enemies. The bosses on the other hand need a bit more strategy.
