No mention of glass? I know glass isn't technically 'an element' but... maybe you could squeeze it in, if you say its a mixture of earth and fire elements? :blob_hmm_two:

It's like ice magic, but sharper. Plus you can bend the rules and get funky with things like mirrors and stuff.

agree. I only know one story with metal based power. that is Mistborn Trilogy. This is an untapped elemental. people need to use this elemental more if they plan to make elemental based magic power stories.

try to read Metallurgy power in Mistborn Wiki. Hopes you can gain enlightenment from it..
Mistborn is the problem that happened to metal elemental power. It has such a creative and well defined metal system that any other work with a metal based magic system will be compared to it and will seem dull. Or if a similar system is used, it will come off as unoriginal or plagiaristic.

bounds to happen to newer stories that wwant to use metal based magic system, but that's fine. I mean there are already many stories with similar rip off magic system anyway.
