You need at least one chapter in order to submit a story.
I am not entirely certain how many words it should have, but I mildly remember it is supposed to be 800 words long or so. I am not sure of an exact number.
It needs to be a valid chapter, i.e. not generated by "AI", and not a random collection of letters.
This is then submitted - doing this is part of the story creation, you can't create a story without it.
This is manually reviewed by Tony - only moderator of the site, and also the owner. This could take even more than 24 hours.
If it is rejected, you would receive a notification (see the bell icon), but not a private message.
If your chapter is approved, it appears on the site as the new story. You could edit your first chapter as many times as you want afterwards, but whatever is submitted needs to be the valid chapter. You couldn't just write "placeholder" and click submit.
Getting reviewed? When I start my chapter 1 it did not say anything? And getting approved, isn’t that something the web Royal road do?
Both Scribble Hub and Royal Road need to approve your story.
The difference is then on the Scribble Hub it is done by administrator. If it looks fine, your story appears. If it doesn't, it is rejected and you receive a notification. This would take a while, as it is done by a person.
The Royal Road also approves your story, but since Amazon has practically infinite money, it is done automatically by the computer, so it is much faster. The Royal Road actually checks if your story matches anything in their database, while on the Scribble Hub it is less demanding, that's why the Scribble Hub has such a massive problem with unauthorized translations.
