There are lots of great suggestions here. Don't be afraid of prescription pills if you try a lot of things that don't work for you. Human brain chemistry is complicated, and sometimes our brains need a little help.

Sex, drugs or Rock'n'Roll.

Alternatively the one thing I tell every weeb, "pro-gamer" or internet activist: Get a hobby

Another thing,

Go eat food. Go try food you never did before. Go eat junk-food (chips/fries/ice-cream) of whatever you want.
Go try "HADES" indiegame or any good games out there like FF7 remake. (also they can be downloaded free if you search/dont report plz)
Go to nhentai or jav.com
Go on youtube-shorts
Go do whatever you think is fun (but not illegal and dangerous)

Me after my depression, tasty home-mad chinese fried rice is heavenly food.
A day with the tart of my family ? Heck its good day
Home-made Pizza ? FCK YEAH
Cheese burger of McDonald ? Would probably grin a lot (cant have them sadly though)

True
Near forgot that there are people that simply want attention, ty for reminding that Cupcakeninja

Not that i am saying the OP is one but we are not sure and the fact its written without "caps" at first letter is doubtful

Its not only the attention seekers. The pretenders. Its just that not getting any sun or human interaction can fuck with you. Eating only instant foods and gaining all kinds of weight. Your body has a serious effect on your mind. If you let that go, you're gonna feel lethargic and maybe even sad/miserable.

So exercise and getting out more may not solve your depression, but at least if you have a healthy body we can rule that out as a factor and focus on the more psychological aspect of things.
Meds suck
Hey fuck that nonsense bro, drugs are awesome. You just havent found the right one for you.

Sadly, I can't help with this. I'm usually too busy to be depressed. You could try some new hobbies that make you happy and allow you to spend time with people so that you don't have time to think about it. If you're too busy to think about your depression, you may fix it.

Go to a psychologist and to a psychiatrist.

Take the meds that your psychiatrist recommends to you.

Do the things your psychologist recommends to you.

That's it. Get medical help. They can help you better than we can.

A lot of possible strategies depend on what causes you to feel depressed. Generally, people will feel depressed most often either when they are understimulated or when they are overstimulated. I often feel depressed after being social, after physical activity, when I am somewhere paticularly bright or dark, or after being startled by a loud noise. That's when my body and mind are telling me I am overstimulated, that I need some space alone in a quiet place to re-center myself. The tips and advice most people give to deal with a little depression do not work for me, because they tend to be for dealing with understimulation instead. This kind of advice works better for people who get depressed when they are alone, bored, or have to sit still for a long time.

Don’t get depressed. Just don’t… I don’t. I say fuck you, shut up, and then continue on with my day
