My personal picks are war glaives, chakrams, and the humble macuahuitl. They're all pretty cool weapons in their own right. Pics for reference, in order:

As much as I'd love to write on paper, typing is more convenient. Sometimes my brain works faster than my hand so I'm prone to making errors like spelling mistakes and such. My first actual novel was handwritten actually, but I used a mechanical pencil for ease of use, so there's that!
My main motivation is I just want to tell a story. If it succeeds or not, doesn't really matter to me. As long as I put a piece of me out there, that's enough.
I'd say if I have to rate myself, I'd give it a six. I've been writing for a good three-ish years by now and I can see some improvement have been made. I don't want to be too egotistical to rate myself any higher as I know I still have plenty to learn.
I treat my description like it's seasoning. Not too much, and not too few. Just sprinkle it here and there. If it's really important, that gets priority too.
I used to be, not anymore. Mentally, I don't get caught in all that. I prepare plans, and outlines of my stories, and then write things at my own pace, in my own way. Each word written is another word towards the goal of finishing a story.
Good timezone, everyone. I'm Echo. Author of Avryn's Journey. Currently on a writing quest that will last me six months! Whenever I'm not writing, I usually watch funny Touhou fumo videos. Glad to be here. Looking to make some writer friends!
I prefer third person POV.
But my long answer is depending on the genre. Some genres are better in first person like in a mystery novel. Either way, they're both tools to use for your disposal.
