It's a balancing act. One can certainly go overboard with lips curling, words being "growled", eyebrows being described all the time, etc. "Said" is usually a fine default, when the words being said are what's important. Or the action around them. I like a sprinkle of action tags for variety

well, it doesn't help that the first minute of reading has this pattern three times. it's the most famous/obvious ChatGPT pattern, the triple negative. Or negative sentences in general. Ctrl+F the word "Not" or "n't" to make it more obvious. "The sky wasnt green. Not red. Not black. Just blue...

Its kind of that 5 star rating is default for "im reading this, I like it", and is the most common rating on the site. then the 4 stars "ehh there's too much problems i cant quite give it 5 stars but it's okay", or the 1 stars by offended readers who dropped the story after something they hated...

if the tag is "Adult" I think readers will want/expect to watch the act? Probably? And I'm not sure I've ever seen a story on SH where sex was implied but not shown in detail. Though personally I like to see it skipped and hinted at Congrats on the great numbers :blob_cookie:
