Authors, please, recommend me your story!

Try reading my story—the idea for the novel was born from an anecdotal joke, which is how my story begins. There's nothing serious in it, just humor.

    Is it normal

It's normal—you have to fight for loyal readers. Those are the ones who stick with you after the first 2, 3, or 5 chapters. It's a disaster when interest drops off after a dozen chapters.

    Unique Ways To Get Isekaied

In my novel, the protagonist decided to end his life by overdosing on pills. He boarded a tram with the intention of getting off at the final stop. In a state of delirium induced by intoxication, the boundaries between the material and the fictitious disappeared, and everything transformed into...

Do you ever listen to music while you write or brain storm.

You have great music. I don’t listen to music when I’m writing a novel. But when I’ve been working on something serious, I try to pick out music for a scene or a character so that I can picture it in my head as an AMV, trailer, or opening—something along those lines. It lets my imagination run...

To the Authors there who draw

This is pain. I've tried various ways to express my ideas; drawing has the highest barrier to entry if you want to be understood. I don't consider myself a writer, but I can accept the notion that I write toilet pulp—I just can't come to terms with the idea that I draw stickmans.

    Graveyard of Abandoned Project

Let's look at it from another perspective: you drop novels faster than I can come up with them. That's your superpower. ("Dropman", just kidding.) So, if that bothers you—there are people who struggle with new ideas.

Need help! How to write good quality stories faster

Try using voice-to-text programs and dictate your drafts in your free moments. Then you can edit them later. This advice isn't about quality, of course, but about time management.

    How young is too young?

John Doe grew up as a genius child in a troubled family. Possessing an exceptional intellect and memory, he faced injustice every day—in his home, in kindergarten, and at school. He soon realized that a child is essentially just a talking animal. He was humiliated and beaten; they treated him...

Why do sunlight harm certain types of vampire?

According to one of the theories, mythology directly originates from the animal instincts of a time when we were not yet rational. The fear of dead bodies of kin, the fear of night for daytime creatures, and the fear of sick relatives—all of this transformed into the undead, rising under the...

Any tips on how to get more readers on scribbles?

Alright. I want to be helpful, but the techniques I know were developed by a different community for another platform (haha, a defector revealing the guild’s secrets :s_eek: —just kidding), and due to technical differences between sites and various cultural nuances, they might not work here. I...

    Muh business model.

It so happened that yesterday I became interested in this site. The monetization format is similar to what’s used on services in Russia and Ukraine, and it really suits me. Where do I sign this contract? I read their Terms of Use, and here’s what they say: I might be making a mistake, but I’d...

Yes, I was talking about my own Patreon. The translator went crazy—in the original text, I didn’t specify who exactly, but I guess you can’t say it that way in English, so it started writing “you” instead of “I.” I tried to fix it manually, but apparently just made things even more confusing. Sorry.

    Muh business model.

An idea occurred to me: if you have a novel being published on a site, I am could write bonus chapters for Patreon. Without disrupting the main storyline, I am can add “fanfic-like” side stories for paying subscribers. I’m not well-versed in Patreon, nor in writer business models in general, so...

What method do you use to build your novel ?

In the text, I also hint that I consider mawashi geri to be food. That makes the joke (and it is indeed a joke) twofold. It’s perfectly normal for me if I go a few days without taking my meds.:sneaky: Just to clarify the method without joking: some writing guides recommend starting with an...

    Your opinion about plagiarists/scrappers, sites?

Although some view pirate sites as a form of advertising, I personally haven't felt any increased attention towards myself. Perhaps embedding Patreon links in each chapter will change the situation. However, even though I have seen similar solutions, I find them disgusting.

    2 Heroines = Harem?

Alright, my assumption was incorrect. However, I found that the term 'harem anime' is used for anime titles that have many heroines. I immediately remembered one anime with two heroines (Photon) – on MyAnimeList, it is not marked as a harem anime.
