I enjoy it a lot when I write. I like being immersed in a world I’ve created. Sometimes I’d have an outline or goal for a chapter and it’ll have a detour. I found that fun. There are also days when I doubt myself a lot and wiring gets so painful though.

I understand. I can handle a lot of prolonged tension in a story, but there needs to be a relief or a tiny beacon of hope at least (for me). I get used to the tone of the story quick. If the tension is 100 all the time, the next scene is not going to feel any different. It’s more painful to see...
