Tell me about a "phase" in your life

The vampire thing is, on the other hand, not a phase, it's a lifestyle!

Is it better to clarify these things or not?

That is a question I don't truly know the answer to. I think the best you can do in that situation (asides from possibly abandoning the idea entirely) is to always make sure that, when you use a non-standard term, it is abundantly clear from context what you mean. If you're always careful...

Why use AI to write your "book"?

The age of slop is upon us. Thank god for the classics.

Fun Question: If you had to be reincarnated as a character from your book (not the MC), who would it be?

Kinda of a hard question... especially so since a lot of my favorite side characters are women. Not that that's *really* a problem for a reincarnation, but still. Also, a lot of my characters either live in crapsack worlds, lead crapsack lives, or else lead crapsack lives in crapsack worlds...

What’s your favorite explanation for fantasy worlds being "real"?

I voted "not be explained", but actually, the best explanation for story worlds being real is the one which makes the story you're telling most interesting.

    Need help(Powersystem)

Instead of worrying so much about "sense", I'd try to think about what are the needs of your story, and how various "system" ideas will affect the world, the plot, and the characters. It's unwise to fall into the world building trap (he said from experience), tempting though it may be.

    Eye Colour?

Brown is a lovely eye color! Don't be ashamed of it, I'm sure they're real pretty!

    Eye Colour?

I'm pretty sure that's hazel. Also, my eyes have kind of a cool star pattern in them if you look closely. It's rather hypnotic, lmao

My short form — what do you think?

I don't know if this is exactly a response to your story, but animals from zoos will return to their cages if driven out of them. Assuming they aren't killed and eaten along the way. Is it weird I'm bothered by the extra 'l'?

What's your least liked or most hated part of writing?

I will literally drop any book or story (that isn't Lord of the rings itself) if it wastes my time on long descriptions of stuff that doesn't matter. If you wanted to paint a picture so bad, go to art class.

What's your least liked or most hated part of writing?

I actually kind of hate everything about writing (the actual writing part itself, specifically). I much prefer the world building before hand, and the editing/redrafting after. Writing the initial prose is like pulling teeth.

Average rate of healing do you have in your story if a character breaks a bone

It depends on the story, of course. In most of them, a broken bone would heal at the regular rate (i.e. if I was going to feature a broken bone in the plot, would look up how long it normally takes), though in the one with "magical healing" bones (and everything else) heal in seconds or less...

Motivation Challenges I Face as a Japanese Writer Translating into English

Literally just persistence, tbh. I always write *something* every day (even if it's crap), and sometimes I write something productive.

    There are NO bad jokes

See if I can get myself banned challenge (no slurs, any%) A sad man walks into a doctors appointment, tells the doctor he wants to kill himself. Doctor says, "Have you tried turning yourself into a woman?" The man tries that, but is still sad, so he returns. The doctor says, "Of course...
