I like it. Based on this small taste, I want to read more. This is interesting. I couldn't guess the genre from that paragraph, but again, I would want to read on. We have moved on from feet in an earlier paragraph, to footwear. Evolution? ?

Not sure what a flying fuck fest is, but I want to find out. ? Years ago I had a girlfriend who, despite being otherwise attractive, had feet like a Hobbit. Terrifying.

I keep it to between 1k and 2k. My average is about 1400 words. I did have one chapter that went well beyond 2k, so I cut it in half and did a slight rewrite to make it into two decent chapters.

I'm very impressed. I managed 1100 words yesterday and felt pleased with myself! If you can keep up a 9000 word a day tempo, that's a book written every couple of weeks! Amazing!

I start a new job tomorrow, and the next couple of weeks are going to be busy. I have decided to take a break from posting new chapters until September 10th. Wish me luck!

I have an idea of what I want to put in each chapter. Sometimes my brain has other plans though and extra stuff gets added, stuff gets bumped to the next chapter etc.. Having a plan is good, but I think it's important to be flexible too.
