Ever think you wrote something but go back to look for it and find out you didn't?

Sometimes I guess I am a little scatterbrained. I thought I wrote some stuff about people trying to discern a poorly written note from a toddler only to not be able to find it. Maybe I only wrote that in my imagination and not in reality. Notices grasp on reality slipping away.

    Commenters Missing the Point?

Anyone ever read a comment and wonder if the commenter is missing the point of your story? Maybe this is a bit of a vent because my latest work is supposed to be a bit slapstick. But criticizing a main character's intellect in a comedy story seems like weird feedback. IDK, I should prob just...

    Idea For a Weapon System

Weapon Name: Nerf Stick Description: This is a wooden staff with a stuffed pony head on one end. The pony head has a dump grin and googly eyes that rattle around in whatever direction as moved. The fluffy fabric it is made of is a combination of pastel blues and a bright white. Special...

    Word Count weighted for Trending.

So suppose novel #1 post 1000 words every day and novel #2 posts 2000 words every other day. Do both have an equal chance to get trending? If not they maybe the algorithm should account for it somehow.

    Multi-vote with google assistant

I don't know if it a big deal, but if you get google assistant to read a chapter it lets you give an extra heart on the chapter. At least on android.

Plot devices in stories that causes one to frown?

Does anyone else have these? I guess this is sorta me venting as a reader too but it is good to know that perspective as an author too and avoid doing something that as a reader would turn myself off to the story. Lately, my number one annoyance is the insta-gank scenario. Someone sitting in...

Overlord: Who is your favorite maid?

Of all the maids in the Pleiades squad my favorite is Solution Epsilon. What is yours? She is my favorite because she is both a bit of a wild card and loyal. Also her powers and personality are absolutely terrifying. Compared to some of the other maids who wear their hearts on their sleeve...

    Accessibility options?

Would it be possible to have an accessibility option to turn tables into plain text? Google assistant as a screen reader tends to just skip over them. I don't know if it would be too hard to use a regular expression to turn them into tabs or something. It would be a big help for the visually...

Why do people start a new thread but the OP never posts anything again?

One of the great mysteries of the internet. Someone posts "Hey what about such and such?" and 20 posts follow. As time go ones they have less and less relevance to the first post. I find myself wondering if the original poster is even noticing the replies. If they are not engaging other than...

Can we trade 1 star reviews to @K5Rakitan

Someone gave my story a 1 star review but no feedback. I know we can't but I thought I'd offer it anyway at least in spirit. @K5Rakitan want to trade? I know you collect these. Willing to trade: 1 star review for a cookie emoji

Anyone interested in giving feedback for my first attempt?

https://www.scribblehub.com/series/348776/gaming-on-a-mud-is-difficult/ Gaming on a mud is difficult is about a character the author played quite a while ago. He kept a bit of a journal to remind himself of the roleplay and memorable moments. The system is loosely based on D&D (Some things in...
