I don't think it should be a problem, there already been a someone who has two characters in one character sheet Iris and Reival (now separate I think) doing their quest together. And, there has been people with multiple characters. Heck we even have one guy who has four characters.

Sadly dialogue and word choice is always going to be a difficult thing since it always require a bunch of trail and error. The only thing I can tell you is to keep on editing until you make something that satisfies you. Some resources that may help you on the editing journey are the sites like...
