I only met Eldoria through here lol. I originally began my story many years ago, so it’s just one of those small world type situations ?

What's your biggest strength as a writer?

I don’t see everything, but I will get whole scenes in mind sometimes. Like finished paintings. I will note these down, who’s in them, emotion behind it, lighting, stances. And then use them as anchors to write towards. It works for me.

What would you do if your story became insanely popular?

I would keep doing what I’m doing. I always wrote these stories for me. That’s why I’m working on book 3 when I barely have any readership as is. I’m planning a 4 novel arc, with short story volumes from each land when I am done (Legends of Kael, which is where the knights and king are from. And...

    Traditional art as book covers

It can be fun, I was a purely traditional artist for years. But your traditional work is strong and vibrant. So do what feels best for you :) Your art is just as eye catching as digital.

    Traditional art as book covers

Your traditional work is awesome! I didn’t start to use digital until I was in my 40’s lol. So there’s always time to learn. But from your pieces, I’d say you don’t have to learn unless you want to.

Author Music: Stuff you Listen when you Write

I lean towards rock. It motivates me but also shares some of the tones of a couple of my scenes. I don’t listen to any one song, but I’ll put on a playlist of say, Iron Maiden. My standbys are Maiden, Led Zeppelin, the Grateful Dead and if it’s an emotionally heavy scene, Leonard Cohen.

What would the fandom of a novel you wrote be called?

If I chose, I could see them being called ‘dorians. Since the land in my fantasy world is called Eldoria (hi @Eldoria ?).

Exhaustion and combating stress after dealing with a story.

Definitely take a break. The myth that you have to write every day to be a serious writer is just that, a myth. If you push yourself through it, the work will suffer. Your work deserves the best of you…don’t burn yourself out trying to make something happen. I find, after taking a break, I come...

    Writing The thing with pronouns

Names are the easiest way. Or description. Like who is the man? Any identifying characteristics? Sometimes you can add those between pronouns so you won’t repeat them so close together.

How do you view your characters in your fiction?

My characters are a conglomeration of my experiences. Not physically, lord I have never been in a fantasy battle ? but emotionally. The king enduring for those he loves, the goblins having hope even when things look bleak. Those are things I leaned over time, and I carried it over to my characters.

[Help Me] Measure the Reader's Perception of Character Identifier

I hope I did the spoiler tag right. I read this on my lunch break, so I hope I didn’t do too terrible ??

[Help Me] Measure the Reader's Perception of Character Identifier

Sure, I’ll help! I’m going to read this after work tomorrow, since I’m sleepy and struggling to stay awake. That way I can give clear answers and feedback ?

Writing How many named characters have you introduced in a single chapter?

I wrote a goblin council meeting scene with 5 different goblin leaders and the king. There were a few over characters I had introduced in earlier chapters there too. But I tried to make it so they all had unique traits, and only a few of them actually took over the argument. The others were more...

Working on more than one story at a time?

I write one story at a time (I’m currently in the middle of book 3 of an epic fantasy novel series.) There are things I think that would make good stories, or good plots, but don’t serve the story I am writing. So I decided to write a book of short stories set in my fantasy world. That way I can...

    When writing slow burners...

I usually write from one point to the next, then go back and expand to slow it down if needed. I was really bad about having this BIG THING happen then this other BIG THING happen. I’ve gotten a lot better at letting the story breathe between scenes. But it took some practice.

    Getting paid on Wattpad

I’ve been on Wattpad for 7 months. In that time, I’ve amassed a whole 190 views. My work is different, it’s a complete epic fantasy novel. So I expected lower views. But there is almost no way to boost your visibility unless you write very specific genres. I’m about to give up on it and just...

    Getting paid on Wattpad

For every paid writer, there are hundreds and hundreds of unpaid ones. If you can make money off of a work, that’s great! Just don’t go into it expecting it to happen and you’ll do fine.

JUST DISCUSSING LORE OF MY STORY

Same, I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that. Rarely do I ever read something whilst I am writing. That being said, I hope the OP gets some good feedback!

Give me your thought which Art Style I should use

To me it is. The negative space is doing a lot of work there. It leads the eye to the title then the characters.
