I write as a hobby I publish on free sites so people can enjoy my work, why should I have to pay 100+ dollars for a professional artist to draw a cover for my free books?

Male presenting accounts seem to have fewer reactions on Reddit than female ones do but the reactions are far more respectful. I'm almost tempted to create a second account on here and Royal Road and post one of my secondary novels under a female pen name to see if it's the same on actual novel...
