I recommend the novel https://www.novelupdates.com/series/martial-world/ famous work/author. (chinese) MC uses a spear. And you maybe get insights on how to explain how a MC/author tell subtly to readers the weapon > common sword. AND its giga detailed fights.- Tsuru
