Lords of Magic! Feels a lot like Disciples or RPG-ish Total war. Closest thing nowadays is probably Warhammer:TW modded to be character-heavy. Still kicks ass, there's a mod kicking around that modernizes a lot of it. Warning if anyone decides to play it: a lot of the legitimate versions...

The Chrysalis series by RinoZ is excellent, easily the best creature evolution LitRPG I've read, which I personally think is the format in which the genre shines. Building your own ant empire for fun and profit. Also charmingly voice acted.

Try I Became the Tyrant in a Tower Defense Game, only read the comic not the WN but it definitely has a good amount of that, and a lot of fun!

7-8 on average, with the occasional 4 and one 10. Depends on how well I can impress the stakes when I made the narrative blunder of having a 100% invincible MC. This is on the MCU/quippy superhero fights scale though, so I'd score different in a litRPG.

I write like a DM, I know where each book will start and end, but I drop myself plot hooks along the way that I can grab for side quests to fill the space between.

Its totally normal, something you have to work around, just like starting every sentence with a character name, 'he' or 'she' in 3PP. I find sometimes dropping the article entirely makes sense in context if you've been using it a lot, and can make things feel more like natural speech.

I'm just picking up Sam Jackson's from his smoking corpse and calling it good. Gonna cut some motherfuckers with the Manliest Shade.

That's my take too, the big loss here is the emotion in the eyes, which is really strong in the line drawing.
