    Writers with their mess.

I choose to double your suggestion and pass it to the next author. :blob_salute:

    help here

If you don't want to do a lot of research, then go with fictional or an alternate history. If you like researching social norms and history, you'll get plenty going with real world nations. I lack such interest and time, but can see the draw it might have for many authors.

What will you do if your character misbehaves?

Then I make new plans since my character obviously knows better than me what they would do. If I force things too much it starts to feel inorganic and I end up scrapping it anyway. My world and background are still the same, so it's all a matter of how she interacts and learns stuff. Planning is...

    Doubts when writing a novel

Of course, but I just fix anything pointed out. I stressed a lot in the first couple months and then realized anything I put out isn't permanently bad unless I drop it. I don't plan on doing that, so even my older chapters are just a work in progress. :blob_evil:

Helpp i needa tip or knowledgee

Using cliffhangers for every chapter can start to feel weird if someone is reading through your novel later on. Try adding a mention of the previous chapter near the beginning of the next like : 1. The way John licked that apple during our lunch together is still messing with my head hours...

    *Dropped reader

Seems kind of rude to rant about people who are reading your novel and even commenting still. As long as they didn't drop a one star review on you of course, but it sounds like they just didn't want your novel in their list. Maybe it's monitored by a parent, spouse or some other such reason...

Why don't I care about the side characters at all?

Usually authors want you invested in their MC so they put a lot of work into them. Also, (Obligatory comment about the youth these days having a short attention span)

    Eternal Hobbies

I already forget enough about some books and movies to just read or watch them again. Since you didnt mention having a supernatural memory, I'll just do what I normally would for hobbies, forget stuff and do it all over again.

Things That Makes You Go High AF when writing

Being sad, angry, or hurt... not tooth pain though. Tooth pain makes writing very hard. I'm able to write more when I have some sort of negative emotion that needs an outlet. Happiness makes me slothful.

I discovered my specialty, I think?

Heartwarming family moments. ^^^ If you read this and thought "Oh, I should click on the link for their novel so I can enjoy cute fluff." Please save yourself and read my tags before jumping in. Just because it's what I think I'm best at, doesn't mean it's all I write. :blob_teary: :blob_paint:

How do you handle updating tags?

I do polls on my newest chapters for stuff like that. Tags are for your readers when all is said and done, so ask them. If enough of them respond positively to the change in tags, then change it.

[Tutorial] For new users of Scribble Hub!

I still won't trust it to release my chapters at the right time, but that's mostly because I don't trust my brain to remember everything needed to make it work right. Manual is the only way for me. :blob_dizzy: This guide is really great though. I was wondering why it wasn't notifying me when...

How far to push a story, and when to pivot to a new one?

When I was a reader without a lot of money, what got me to sub to a patreon was history, consistency, and then interest. If you have a lot of unfinished works and go on long breaks, it would be hard to justify the expense to myself. "What's the point of paying for something that's just going to...

    Anyone else edit published chapters?

I'm in the process of going back to my first volume and putting in tables. The box kind, not the eating and having lewds on kind. :blob_catflip: I'm also throwing my old lewd scenes into spoilers for the people who want to skip it or find it easier. So yes, I'm brand new to writing and a lot of...

Is bestiality alow on SH ?

If your animals are able to speak, and have the ability to consent. Then go ahead. Kind of like how necrophilia is against the rules, but sex with a sexy zombie probably isn't. If they get non-consensualed, then make sure not to glorify it, since non-consensualing anything is bad.

    [survey] What are your fetishes?

Lumberjacks. Cuddling said large hairy chested men is a plus, but I'm not picky. Hugh Jackman specifically for bonus points.

I saw this and immediately thought "Oh they time traveled to the year 1245." Then I read and felt embarrassed, but it made me laugh. So that's my win of the day.:blob_facepalm:

    smut infestation

Just check the trending tab. There isn't a single one with Smut today, and 3 or 4 fanfics. Also the missuse of the smut genre is pretty common. Maybe 1/3 should have the tag, and the rest should just be labeled adult. It's almost like the authors have the same problem as the readers and don't...
